  • Advice on Collection Only items
Please note that on large, heavy or delicate items, "collection only" means just that. If you do not collect the item(s) yourself and get somebody else to do it on your behalf e.g. a friend, or a courier company, they will be signing for the condition and acceptability ON YOUR BEHALF. The contract is completed once the item is taken away and there cannot be any return of the item (under the Consumer Contracts Regulations) if you change your mind, as you can with normal posted or delivered items bought on the internet. If the item is damaged before it reaches you, in these circumstances no liability can be held by us. If the item is faulty (or has a different fault to that specified, if listed as such) you will of course be entitled to your money back, but you'll have to get it back to us at your own cost and no delivery/collection costs can be refunded. The item - as it is collection only - is effectively treated as "sold as seen". When organising the collection an accurate idea of time and day will be required as there will not always be somebody at the warehouse. An "afternoon slot" or "9-5" slot is not sufficient. Collectors can call or text 07976 372584 on the day or in advance to give more of an idea if required. They will also need to call or text this number on arrival. No liability can be accepted if a collector arrives without prior arrangement, and this has not been done. The postcode is BL1 3AS.
