Wye Pine Home Furnishings are a small family business with many years in furniture retailing. We specialise in bespoke at very affordable prices for all your home furniture needs.
Our Timber comes from managed and sustainable forests in Scandinavia, but the huge surprise is that our furniture is built by craftsmen in Birmingham here in the UK! Strange in these times when everything seems to come from abroad isn't it! So not only are you getting an environmentally friendly piece of furniture you are also aiding the UK's economy and keeping local people in work. In my lifetime in this business, and that is not that long! she lies! you will find less and less furniture warehouses in Birmingham, once they were ten a penny but now nigh on extinct.
We offer value for money and good old fashioned customer service, we try our best anyway! If our best is not enough then we apologise and admit it and try harder.
At Wye Pine we offer lots and lots of furniture ranges and we can also copy pretty much any design you may already have in your home, so we have a lot of choice on offer. We offer a wide selection of finishes and can post actual colour samples out in the post as we are very aware that computer screens are not great for this.
Having said all that we do offer Oak Furniture and some pine furniture that are imported, these pieces we feel offer outstanding value for money and gives our customers even more choice as we are aware that one size does not fit all.
Pine furniture can and does take some flak in the designer stakes, but please do not rule Pine out just because you think it has to be orange and shiny, we are happy to do that too! but pine has evolved too and it looks great in the more natural wax finishes and honestly if we did not tell you you would never guess that it was pine. Our Kenilworth Oak and Antique Wax finishes are truly gorgeous putting that bland Oak to shame! It does not have to be the same colour as a swedish Sauna is all I'm saying! Although cameras, or all the ones I possess seem to manage to turn even the most unshiny, natural wood Welsh Dresser or Traditional Sideboard into that Swedish Sauna, may be I need to take a crash course in photography, but it looks so complex!
We try to deliver our furniture in our own vans to make sure that our furniture gets to our customers in one piece and we like to get to meet our customers too, but sometimes this is not always viable and couriers are used. We will let you know who will be bringing your furniture so that you are always kept in the loop.
A couple more things you may like to know about us, just to keep you fully informed. As we are a small business we are often away from the phones and the computers but we will get back to answer messages and emails as soon as we can.
Wye Pine do not supply Flat pack, some of our not pine and painted items of furniture are flat packed and some times table legs need to be attached, but that is all. Our furniture is factory constructed, we can if we are made aware make items in smaller pieces for ease of access but if we do this we will put it back together once in situ.
