Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Please open and check all items in front of the courier if possible before signing. We realise that the courier may not allow this due to time constraints so if not possible then simply sign your name and underneath write 'possibly damaged'. Please follow this procedure even if there is no noticeable damage to the packaging. Please DO NOT write 'unchecked' or sign your name alone unless you have been able fully inspected your item for damage. If you sign only with your name you are stating that the item is perfect with no faults or damage.

If you do not follow these rules during delivery then any claims we make for damaged items will not be honoured by the courier and this may affect our ability to offer replacements. This is important as any claim for courier damage cannot be made by us without these strict instructions being taken.

Damages

If you do however find that the item is damaged in any way our claims team are email based only. Please contact us via email only to claims@cambsvalley.co.uk preferably within 36hrs of signing for the item, but always with 7 days. We may ask for a photograph of the damage to help us confirm what we will need to replace. We will then contact our supplier and replacement parts will be sent as soon as we receive them. We aim to replace any faulty or damaged parts within 2-3 days but can take up to 28 days if we need to order it in.

We will always replace individual parts rather than the whole item if we deem it best. If you refuse our offer of replacement part(s) and you decide you no longer want the item please contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number and send it back to us within 7 days of receipt. Once we have the item back we will refund the full purchase price of your item back to you using the same means as you originally paid within 28 days of return (any postage costs incurred either way will not be refunded).

Returns

If you simply do not like the item or find it unsuitable then due to the item being an auction won item we cannot unfortunately accept any returns for these reasons.

These T&C's are final and once you click to purchase you click to agree to the said T&C's.

ALL correspondence regarding claims and discrepancies MUST be put in writing via email to: claims@cambsvalley.co.uk

Cheque Payments

Items paid using cheque will be dispatched as soon as cheque is cleared which, as advised by our bank is 8 working days after showing in our account.

Please make cheques payable to CAMBS. VALLEY LTD

All items paid by paypal or debit/credit card will be dispatched next working day. (If order states 24 or 48hr delivery) Delivery will be longer for other items.

You will receive an email once your item has been dispatched. Please keep checking any Spam folders as these messages sometimes end up there.

IMPORTANT. If you do not receive your item within 2 working days of the dispatch email then please contact us urgently via the telephone as there will be a problem with delivery. If you do not contact us we will have no idea of any problem until your item is returned to us as un-delivered. If this happens then you will be required to pay the delivery p&p charge again before we can re-dispatch the item.

Lastly, I apologise for all the rules and regulations regarding what and what not to do. We have put them there not to be awkward but simply to help you receive your item in the best possible condition, as quickly as we can and with the minimum of fuss.
