PLEASE SEE OUR ANOUNCEMENT ON SHIPPING CHARGES

We sell an eclectic selection of antiques and collectables, from the Georgian period to the present day. We are constantly reviewing and increasing our stock which includes: silver and silver plated wares (including both Old Sheffield Plate and Electroplated items), glass, ceramics and small items of furniture, we also endeavour to find a selection of items from the many branches of the decorative arts.

Our aim is to offer interesting and exciting pieces throughout a wide price range. We hope you will enjoy perusing our pages, and invite you to browse through our everchanging stock and look forward to you becoming one of our regular and longstanding customers.

We ship worldwide and will always try to find the best and most cost effective way to ship your goods, and combine costs for multiple purchases. As our small contribution to the planet we use some recycled packaging, but only when it is fit for purpose.

The turl is named after our favourite street from our time at Oxford. It was a thriving place for purveyors of fine silver from the Middle Ages onwards and was almost equally famous for the QI club up until 2007. We trust you will find our shop QI too!

The store inventory is added to and updated almost daily so please call back regularly.

Multiple Purchases

We are happy to combine multiple purchases to obtain the optimum postal cost. Except for very light items this will save a minimum of £1 per item for each additional item. In some cases where the total weight goes marginally over the carriers break point it may well be that two parcels are less expensive than one.

Where insurance is taken out a single fee will be charged for the parcel rather than individual items. Invoices can be left open for up to 10 days on request.
