the Pwincess and the Coin Collector
He's a coinie, she's a Pwincess. We've got things for gap-fillers, date run makers and year set people. We've got things that sparkle and glow, and coins that have been through hard times and wars. Coins that may have been lost and found, spent and lent, given and stolen, and some that have never been touched at all.

| | | What we're about...
We know all this looks very organised and dealer-like. Not that we've got anything against dealers; if I was honest being a coin-dealer would be my dream profession, but we're not there yet, and we'd like to let you in on how this all works, and what it's for:
The basic idea is to upgrade our collection - it's a standard "one-of-everything" ambition that we call our "pension fund", and it's the nearest we've got to one of those! We buy coins that are better than the ones we've got and sell the duplicates to fund more coins. Simple really.
Actually, we do it for the feedback!
and we really do want to know what you think and how we could develop this to be a Shop you want to come back to, so drop us an email, we'd be thrilled to hear from you even if you're not buying anything! | | | |

| | | How this happened...
The Coin Collector has filled in gaps for 30 years; steadily bought and sold, making gaps, then filling them again - all very nice but never made so much as a brass farthing from it......Along comes the Pwincess with a blinding flash of inspiration (that only a Pwincess can provide) that if we bought coins we already had, then we could upgrade the ones we've got and sell the duplicates. Remarkable. If the world was run by people like the Coin Collector nothing would ever happen. The Pwincess likes to go shopping for sparkly things, and knows more than she lets on about coins now, and the Coin Collector likes the process. The Pwincess likes to wrap up presents for people, and the Coin Collector likes to see the collection being upgraded. Now we've got a shop the objective is to fill it right up, so that you can come here looking for a specific coin, and we'll have it....it's all very exciting, and the Pwincess is constantly thinking of more interesting things to do with coins... You have to buy things though, otherwise she'll have my head chopped off, and the Pwincess won't be able to go shopping.
