Date of Birth:  Not telling you - suffice it to say I'm the wrong side of 35!

 

Family:  No children but have a beautiful niece and gorgeous nephew in Lancashire - more about them later . . .

 

My favourite things: 

  • food – British, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Spanish, Mexican . . . you get the picture!
  • tipple - nice, big glass of Pinot Grigio!
  • hobbies - cardmaking & scrapbooking (when I get time!)
  • tv programmes - Loose Women, Corrie, Dragon's Den
  • word - "segadora-trilladora" - this means "combine-harvester" in Spanish - I know, I need help!
  • sport – Formula One Motor Racing  (watching it, that is!)
  • make-up - bareMinerals, of course!

Also:

  • languages - I speak fluent Spanish, French was fluent but is now a bit rusty, and German was never that great to start with!
  • food foibles - I love cooked tomatoes but will not under any circumstances eat them raw! (same with onions!), I hate mushrooms - far too slimy!  I love dark chocolate, like milk chocolate and will accept white chocolate . . . but only after I have turned the house upside down looking for either of the other two!
  • films – the only film I’ve ever watched more than once (21 times actually!) is Grease.  I reckon watching any other film more than once is a waste of life!

And. . .  

  • skin - I used to have the worst, most uncomfortably dry and sensitive skin ever.  For years!  Then my sister introduced me to a skincare range she had been using and I have never looked back.   I just don't have to worry about  my skin any more!
  • cosmetics - because my skin had always been difficult, for years I just stayed away from make-up completely because I could never get anything to look right.  That is of course until I discovered bareMinerals.  What a revelation!  I became a total addict, a huge fan and now spread the word about this fabulous range at every opportunity!
  • the name of my business - well, I said we'd get back to my niece and nephew . . . I love them so much, I named my business after them!  My niece is called Sophie and my nephew's name is Harry!
