Smart Elex aim to despatch every order in one working day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays) of receiving your order and payment has Cleared. Postage and packaging costs and the standard delivery services offered are all shown in our listings. P&P for multiple items can usually be combined to save you money on shipping. Most listings have discounted "Additional Item" postage rates for more than one of the same item. If the carrier is unable to deliver they may leave a card or contact you. Most carriers keep undelivered parcels for a short time to allow you to arrange redelivery or collection before returning them to us. Parcels returned to us undelivered/uncollected may incur a re-delivery charge.

 
Royal Mail   Royal Mail
  • First Class orders within the United Kingdom sent via First Class usually arrive one or two working days after despatch to most UK mainland addresses. However, Royal Mail do not guarantee delivery times or provide tracking of this service and delivery can take longer. Royal Mail require us to wait 15 working days before reporting First Class as late or lost so we are unable to investigate within this time. If your item is not delivered after 15 days of the dispatch date please contact us.

  • Airmail orders sent via Airmail (Small Packet) are usually delivered in 5-15 working days within most of Europe and 10-15 working days for most other countries but can be delayed by customs clearance, additional security checks or during handling by local carriers so delivery may take longer. Airmail does not provide tracking and Royal Mail require us to wait 25 working days before reporting Airmail as late or lost so we are unable to investigate within this time. If your item is not delivered after 25 days of the dispatch date please contact us.

International Orders    

Smart Elex welcomes international orders. Payment must be in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP). We accept payment via PayPal which will handle the currency exchange, billing for you in your own currency and paying us in GBP.

International Buyers Please Note:

  • Smart Elex export in accordance with UK law and are required to declare the true replacement value and nature of goods for export purposes.
  • Customers outside the European Union are responsible for compliance with import regulations and any duty or import costs incurred.
  • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
  • If you are unsure of import restrictions and costs please check with the Customs authorities in your country prior to placing an order.

To return a product please print this returns form and follow the below instructions (if you do not have a printer a written form with this same information is fine).

Unwanted Goods

If you change your mind about your purchase you may return it to us unopened at your own expense within 14 days of receipt for a full refund; after 14 days we do not accept returns. We do not accept returns for non-faulty unwanted items in any circumstance if they have been opened/unsealed. No returns authorisation code is required but please ensure the item is packaged securely and includes our return form. PLEASE RETURN GOODS VIA RECORDED DELIVERY ONLY. If goods are not sent back to us by recorded delivery and/or in case the goods are lost or not received, Smart Elex cannot be held responsible for any loss sustained. If you are returning Larger items we advise you to send the product via a courier company or a Royal Mail service with extended insurance so you are adequately covered should the item be lost or damaged in transit.

Faulty Goods

If you believe your item is faulty we ask that you first contact us for assistance. If diagnosed as faulty within the first 12 months of purchase you may return the product to us for a replacement or refund should the item no longer be available.

Please note we can only accept a faulty return if your item is returned complete, including all the original packaging, so please do not throw this away upon purchase or we may not be able to accept the item back. When returning a items please be as specific as possible about the fault on the returns so our test centre can attempt to replicate it. Please make sure the item is wrapped securely to avoid damage.
