"Effective 22 November 2010, all parcels greater than 453 grams (16 ounces)**(NOTE; THIS HAS NOW BEEN ADJUSTED TO 500grams) bound for the United States (and associated territories and open transit countries) will be subject to tighter aviation security measures introduced by the US government. A $9.00 surcharge will be applied to all parcels destined for these countries.
.....The increased border protection and aviation security measures have a direct impact on Australia Post's processes. The new measures have increasedd the costs associated with screening and transport, and as a result a surcharge on all international parcels bound for the United States has been applied.

Another typical Brown Tortie Burmese – KAMI is short for Kamikaze, and that says it all. Litter sister to Tali.
She was originally purchased as “an afterthought” and what a joy she is. Again loving and affectionate, chases insects and participates in wrestles.
Kami just loves to play - particularly with her little grey mouse - spends ages just throwing and chasing it.
Both Kami & Tali have a great life with a fully enclosed cat run which was originally and still is the fernery – runs the entire side of the house and is open at 2 doors and a cat door – chases are great fun – in one door around and out the other – just don’t get in the way….they also have ramps and platforms to run up and climb – not a bad life at all. | | | |

Unfortunately our beloved Zizi is no longer with us.
She was a traditional brown female Burmese.
Zizi was slightly on the small size very petite at approx 3kg.
Whilst she was a be a bit nervy side, she jumped if a fly coughed; Zizi was very loving and affectionate, although she used to get a bit carried away with her nibbling on your arm or leg and loved to jump on your back if you happen to bend over. Cleaning your teeth with a cat on your back proved to be interesting. Although small she held her own in wrestles with her siblings. | | | |
