The latest addition to the Pawsnbuy shop - our growing puppy, "Rhonda".
Rhonda enjoys playing on the beach near our home, she is quite happy off the lead and plays well with other dogs. She will come straight back when called, as long as I have a pocketful of treats!
Rhonda is growing quickly and a well balanced diet specially designed for 'giant' puppies is essential for good bone growth. Rhonda does not eat our food, we do not eat hers.
Our Vet has started Rhonda on her course of injections and tests for her pet passport, essential if she is to travel to Europe for competitions: she has a lot to live up to, her father is the current World Champion Bouver
She has learnt some commands, she will sit, stay, offer a paw, kiss (one small lick to the back of your hand, rather than a bite!)
Rhonda has also mastered the art of giving a "High Five" which is quite comical to see! As with most Bouviers, she can be a little headstrong and wilful, but as long as I am always in control and in command, she behaves quite well. Rhonda is eager to please, will fetch toys to play with, a ball to throw, etc. She certainly turns a few heads when we take her for walks in Llandudno Town centre
Look out for Rhonda modelling some new designer clothing in the spring and having her photograph taken with toys and training items we shall be selling in the shop.
Rhonda is a Bouvier Des Flandres puppy - not the easiest of dog breeds to manage and certainly not recommended for anyone with little experience of large, dominant breeds.
More information about the breed and progress reports of Rhonda will be added at regular intervals. Rhonda is a half-sister to Seren, our 20 month old Bouvier puppy. they both come from the same kennels in Irleland, Mon Cher, run by Clare Burnett.
