The band digs in

Your band size is too small

Try a bigger band size – ie if you’re a 34 try a 36 or try a bra with a wider band.

Sore shoulders

Loosen straps or try a bra with padded straps or wider ones.

Straps slip of shoulders

Shorten the straps but make sure they are comfortable and try and avoid stretchy fabrics or choose a firm supporting bra with wider or rigid straps.

Your underwire digs in

Your cup size is too small

Try a larger cup size ie from a B to a C or choose a wire free bra – a soft cup style.

The cup is wrinkled

Try a smaller cup size ie from a C to a B

Your bra doesn’t lie flat on your body and is pushed out

Tips and Ideas :

If you wear the right bra and the correct size, it will make a big difference as to the way you look, how your clothes are seen by others and it can also help your posture.

If you are wearing a dress that’s a bit low or a top, then why not try plunge or push up bra or even a balconette bra to enhance your cleavage and show of that dress or top to the max.

If you have a wee strappy number or halter neck then try a strapless bra but choose one that provides support!

For  T- shirts and with tops and dresses that are made from a stretchy material, try a seamfree bra which will create a nice smooth look.

Please note: These are only guide lines and only you will know how your bra fits you.
