Measuring Yourself

Finding your Band or Back Size

image001

Get yourself a piece of paper and a pen or pencil!

Measure yourself while wearing your bra.

Your measuring tape should not be to tight it should be nice and snug around…. And don’t forget to breath!

Start by measuring yourself around your rib cage, underneath your breasts. Then write this number down.

If the measurement is even, then add 4 inches and if it is an odd number then add 5 inches.

For example is you measure 30 inches, add 4 inches and your band size is 34.

And if you measure 31 inches, add 5 inches and your band size is 36.

If, when you measure your 31½ inches, round this number up to 32 and then add your 4 inches to get your band size. Do the same if you’re an even number ie your 32½ round this is up to 33 and add 5, so your band size will be 38.

Finding Your Cup Size :

Keep your piece of paper and pen handy!

To find your cup size, make sure you still have your bra on.

Place the measuring tape around your bust at the fullest point.

If your measurement is one inch more than your band size, then you are an A cup.  If your measurement is two inches more than your band size is a B cup.  Three inches more then you are a C Cup and 4 inches more then you are a D Cup and So on.

And remember if you are unable to measure yourself then ask someone to help you.
