do we deliver to?
We
use City Link & XDP Express next working day delivery service for all
orders over 2KG for England & Wales & some parts of Scotland.
Delivery
to the following Postcodes have additional costs so please enquire before
bidding. IV3 to IV40, IV52 to IV54, IV63, KW1 to 14, PA20 to 40, PH19 to
40 & PH50.
We
cannot deliver to any UK island, including Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Guernsey
& Jersey, Northern Ireland & the following Postcode Zones All HS, IV41
to IV51, IV55 to IV56, KA27 to 28, KW15 to 17, KA41 to 49, PA60 to 78,
PH41 to 44, ZE & BFPO.
Small items under 2KG
All
small parcels less than 2kg can be shipped by Royal Mail (post office) to anywhere in the UK & its
Islands including BFPO.

What
is the cost of shipping?
Each
listing has the cost of shipping advertised individually, please understand
that furniture is much more expensive to transport (with insurance) than other
items you may buy on eBay. We use our buying power to get the very best courier
rates and we
pass these savings onto our customers. All our courier prices include insurance
and will assure that your item arrives at the property entrance safely, the
carriers do not take your goods into your property, therefore please ensure you
are able to do so. We charge a postage and packing fee only to cover our cost
of packing materials & labour. Please ensure you have understood the cost
of shipping to your area and only transact with us if you are satisfied with
the delivery charges.
Can we combine postage?
For
orders over 20KG we cannot combine postage as all carriers charge by weight and
volume, however if you are looking to purchase multiple small items we may be
able to package them together and save you more money?
When
will my goods be dispatched?
If
your order is paid for before 1pm Monday to Friday we will aim to ship the same
day, if we ship any item on a Friday the delivery will take place the following
Monday as our carriers do not deliver at weekends (unless a premium is paid).
If you buy and pay for any item after 1pm Friday your goods will not be
dispatched until the following Monday.
When
will I receive my order?
Standard
delivery is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, if you require a Saturday delivery
additional charges will apply. Please ask us for a quotation before bidding as
the costs can be very high.
Smaller
items less than 2KG are shipped by Royal Mail 2nd class and should reach you
within5-7 working days. The royal Mail advertise that at busy periods
deliveries can take up to14 working days, and therefore they will not accept a
claim for non delivered goods until after this period.
What
happens if I miss my delivery ?
City
link will leave a calling card & take a photograph of your door (as proof
of the attempted delivery). We also receive an email from them, which will be
forwarded to you via eBay; city link will then automatically re-deliver the
next working day unless you contact them to make additional arrangements. If
they have a further failed delivery they will charge an additional premium for
delivery, alternatively you can collect from their depot (proof of ID will be
required).
My goods have not been
delivered or were late, can I be compensated?
Our
carriers work hard to ensure that all deliveries are received the next working
day, however research shows that less than 0.5% may not reach the buyer within
24hours, they do advertise that delays can sometimes occur that are out of
their control, for this reason they will not offer any compensation in the
event of your goods arriving late.
Can
I change my delivery address?
Changes
to delivery addresses must be made during the payment process as once your
order has left our warehouse we cannot change the address without you incurring
an administration charge (currently £15 but may change without notification),
only upon payment of these charges can we authorize the change.
What
should I do when my order arrives?
Please
ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to sign for your goods
& ensure that your goods are signed for as DAMAGED in the unlikely event of your goods being damaged in
transit you will need to report it within 24 hours and you must have signed for
it as DAMAGED if you
fail to do so then our carriers will not accept any claims, this is without
exception. Please see our returns policy for more details.
