Moksha cashmere products are made in Nepal using the finest quality cashmere yarn. Our yarn comes from the underbelly of Himalayan goats (Capra Hircus) that thrive at 14,000 ft abovesea level. It takes a minimum of three goats to produce enough yarn to createa single shawl. Under careful care this cashmere product will become softer and softer with usage. Moksha artisans have been supplying high quality cashmere products to the international market for over 20 years. We source our Pashmina, Silk and wool yarn from trusted suppliers so we can guarantee exceptional quality, from start to finish. We use a carefully chosen range of chemical-free dyes (e.g. Sandoz and Ciba) and because our fibers come to our base in Nepal from Mongolia, we minimize our carbon footprint. You can be sure that the environmental impact of your purchase is minimal. We are committed to quality at every stage. We keep our impact on the environment to a minimum.
