Pricing

All our pricing is based on the principle of counter collection.

As a service to our online customers we are happy to package and ship goods worldwide. Our P&P charges cover the actual postage/shipping cost plus a very small charge to cover the costs of materials and labour. (Please also see below – Delivery Charges).

Payments

Please pay promptly for you purchases, it helps us keep our costs low for all our customers. PayPal is the best way to pay - that way we can ship the goods without delay.

We understand that some customers prefer not to conduct financial transactions online and for those customers we are pleased to accept Personal Cheques, Company Cheques, Bankers Drafts or Postal Orders, payable to ‘MA Computers’. Please send a copy of the invoice with your payment. We will send you an email when we receive your payment, and we will put you goods aside ready for shipping. When your cheque clears (5-7 days) we will ship the goods.

Please do not bid if you do not have a method of payment ready, or you have any doubts about the goods.

Collection

Our collection counter is open most weekdays and Saturday mornings, but we are a small business and can only promise that the counter will be ready for you if you telephone in advance to arrange collection.

Delivery Charges

Our listings quote the delivery charge to Mainland UK addresses. The delivery charge for multiple purchases of the same item will be automatically calculated by eBay. We are usually able to offer a delivery discount on combined purchases of different items. Please request a final invoice at the checkout BEFORE paying.

Offshore and international customers please request your delivery charges BEFORE bidding. Some items can be surprisingly heavy and are hence costly to ship.

Some of our listings do include postage pricing information for European destinations, where appropriate. Please look down the listing, find the Postage and packaging section, select your country and click the Update button to obtain the postage cost for the listed item to your country.

If that info is not available in the listing, once again, please contact us by eBay message to obtain the P&P for your country BEFORE bidding for the item.

NB

Please note that we specifically aim to NOT profit from Postage and Packing. Our listings state the actual postage cost for the item plus a small allowance for packing materials and packing time.

(We most certainly do NOT use inflated P&P to subsidise silly low prices!)

However, we are human and capable of making occasional mistakes in our listings, so, if you have any concerns over our P&P charges, please feel welcome to contact us and we will review the P&P charge for your transaction, and if necessary we will amend the eBay listing for future purchasers.

Delivery

Small items of low total order value will be shipped to UK addresses by Royal Mail First Class post. All other items will be shipped by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery – a Signed-For service or by other online-tracked courier services. All International items will be shipped using a tracked Signed-For service. This is to comply with PayPal rules.

We deliver some items using our own company transport.

Dispatch

We dispatch late afternoon on weekdays. We try to dispatch the same or next day from receipt of cleared funds.

We will send you a Dispatch Notification email once the item has been posted or collected by the courier.

Warranty

All warranties are given on the basis of Counter Collection and Return. When we have supplied a delivery service for the goods, this is at the buyer’s expense and cannot be refunded. Similarly any return-to-seller postage is at the buyer's expense.

Each listing describes the Warranty Condition of the item or items for sale, as NEW, UNUSED, REFURBISHED, SECOND USER or SPARES/REPAIR. The warranty given for each Warranty Condition is listed below.

NEW                  New items are still under manufacturer’s warranty and in original packaging. Such items have a 12- month Return to Seller warranty, unless greater warranty is stated in the listing.

UNUSED             Unused items are goods that are old stock that have not been used other than for testing. The packaging is described in the listing. Such items have our own 3-month warranty.

REFURBISHED     Refurbished items have been returned to the manufacturer for various reasons, and tested and repackaged to original performance. Such items have our own 3-month warranty.

SECOND USER     Second User items are devices or components which have been in use before. The listing describes the nature of testing we have conducted. Such items have our own 30-day warranty.

SPARES/REPAIR   Spares/Repair items are goods we are not able to test for reasons given in the listing. Such items have no warranty and cannot be returned. We do not list items we know to be faulty even as Spares/Repair.

For brevity the word NEW may appear in the item Title to describe NEW, UNUSED or REFURBISHED items. Please check the body of the item description for actual WARRANTY CONDITION.

Returns Policy

Customer Service and Satisfaction are at the heart of our business. If you are dissatisfied with your goods or services in any way please contact us immediately and we will try very hard to resolve your concerns. Please email us at marinamour@tiscali.co.uk

Warranty Returns        Please email us with any warranty issue, and we will advise if we can replace or refund the goods. Please do not return goods without discussing the problem.

Mis-described items     Please email us with any material mistakes in our listings. We will advise if we can replace or refund the goods. Please do not return goods without discussing the problem.

Unwanted goods         Under Distance Selling Regulations buyers have a legal 7-day Cooling-Off Period. If you do not want the goods please contact us for returns information. Goods must be returned in an undamaged condition in original sealed packing suitable for resale. Second User items will be charged a £5 retesting fee.

Feedback & Satisfaction

The unique eBay feedback mechanism adds great value to the community for both buyers and sellers.

When we have received your order and cleared payment we will post Positive Feedback for you in the eBay system.

Inevitably a small percentage of transactions have problems: the goods may be damaged in transit; the buyer may have ordered the wrong item; etc, etc.
