Terms and conditions

1. Product Specifications

Leather and wood products are made from quality natural materials and accordingly they may not be uniform in colour or texture. Only the finest hides are selected but they will show natural marks and scars on the hide. Some leathers will mellow with age and exposure to sunlight.

We endeavour to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However we cannot guarantee that your monitors’ display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product delivered.

2. Measurements

All dimensions specified by us on this website are approximate.

3. Prices

Standard delivery prices apply to England and Wales, and some parts of Scotland, please check before you buy.

The prices displayed on the website are for on-line purchases. If there are any errors, we reserve the right to amend prices in which case, we will notify you first.

4. Payment

We accept Paypal, Cheque (posted and cleared before delivery will be made)and BACS.

Payment method must be agreed with us at the time of order.

Delivery shall not be arranged until we have received your payment

5. Delivery

We are only able to deliver to you if you have a permanent address on the UK mainland.

We will endeavour to fulfil your order within the timescales indicated on this website from receipt of payment although sometimes (due to factory shutdowns, major holidays or suppliers being out of stock on certain items AND carrier availability which may be outside our control) delivery may take longer. Delivery times to South England & Scotland will be longer.

Any changes made to the content of your order may be made at any time prior to dispatch. Any such changes may have an impact on your delivery date. We may therefore be unable to deliver your goods on your confirmed delivery date should changes occur and if so, a new delivery date will be given.

Delivery is provided by a separate courier company. The courier company will contact you, the customer, by phone a minimum of 48 hours in advance of delivery. In the event that the courier leaves a message regarding delivery it is the responsibilty of you, the customer, to return the call to confirm delivery. If confirmation is not received delivery will not take place.

In order to reduce delivery costs deliveries are consolodated and delivery to any given area in the UK may only occur once a week, in some remote areas deliveries are every two weeks.

If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your order on the confirmed delivery date, we reserve the right to charge you for any subsequent deliveries.

We will deliver your furniture Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 8pm to the address provided at time of order. Any rejection of a specified delivery date may result in a further delay.

You are responsible for providing a safe means of access from the public highway to the place of delivery. If the courier considers that access is unsafe then we will not deliver the goods until safe access is provided.

If we are unable to deliver the goods due to there being no safe means of access to the place of delivery we shall be entitled to cancel your delivery.

Time of delivery is not of the essence in these terms and conditions. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery or re-scheduling of delivery.

Delivery is by a ONE man delivery service.

This service is only guarenteed for Mainland England and Wales.

The delivery person is not permitted by Health and Safety law to remove their shoes as they wear protective footwear. Please be mindful of this if you need to cover/protect flooring/carpets.

6. Returns, Refunds and Your Right to Cancel

If you decide within 7 days of the date on which you have placed your order (cooling off period) and / or have already received goods, that you wish to cancel your order or return them, you should contact us on 07717248247 or sales@hollyfarmfurniture.co.uk to arrange collection. The goods must be returned in their original condition complete with packaging and we will refund you the price, less a % restocking/administration charge plus the cost of returning the item via courier falls to you the customer/buyer at the rate of £30 - £70+vat (dependent on weight of item) for the first item and £15+vat per item thereafter (to cover carriage charges etc.) which will be paid within 30 days. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Subject to your statutory rights, products that are made or altered specifically for you, may not be returned nor will we provide any refund, unless they are defective or have been accidentally damaged by us in the course of delivery.

If we deliver incorrect or damaged goods, or in the event that you discover any defect in the goods for which you require compensation or other remedy, you must report the defect within 7 days of the date you receive them, by contacting us on 07717248247 or sales@hollyfarmfurniture.co.uk Returned goods must be returned in a resalable condition. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, or without its original packaging, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct a % off the original selling price from the refund amount. In the event of receiving damaged or defective item(s) compensation and/or refunds, if applicable, will be negotiated before collection of the item.

We will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from repairs attempted by you or third parties.

We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered products over and above the value of the goods themselves. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Disputes or Problems

In the case of a dispute, we will aim to resolve the problem immediately. In the event of a dispute or problem with your goods, you should contact us on 07717248247 or skjeavons@btinternet.com
