Information and shop policies
We aim to provide the best possible customer service , as we want our customers to be satisfied and entirely happy with their purchases, and hopefully reccommend us to others!
Below is further information and details of our shop policies which we hope you will find useful. However, please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information.
Descriptions:
Most of the items we sell are vintage or antique items, and are therefore rarely in perfect condition! Please remember that most items will show wear and sometimes distress from age and use.We always try to describe items as accurately as possible, and provide detailed photographs, but please contact us if you have any questions, or would like more information, we will be happy to reply.
Returns Policy:
We offer a 14 day no quibble returns policy if for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase, and a full refund will be given by paypal or cheque, whichever the original payment method. The cost of return postage is not however refundable and items must be returned in the same condition as originally described and sold, and returned by the same postal service as delivered.
We will however re-imburse return postage for items where it is evident that we may have made a mistake in a listing, and/or the item is manifestly different to that described in a listing. Please let us know via email as soon as you possibly can if you wish to return items, thank you.
Did you know? Most Buy-it-Now purchases are covered under the Distance Selling Regulations, which gives online buyers the right to cancel a purchase within seven working days of receiving an item, by email, letter or fax. We have extended this to cover our Auction items as well, as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation to our customers.

International bidders:
Are welcome, but payment by paypal only in GBP from all non-UK buyers, and any import tax or other duties must be the responsibility of the buyer, thank you.
Packing and Postage:
We do not charge for packing materials, and we offer free fully insured national and international postage!
We always pack carefully, and post promptly, as we know our customers expect this from us.
Dispatch times:
We always post the next working day following cleared payment, so if you are a UK buyer and pay by Paypal, you should receive your item in less than 48 hours from purchase! Please allow 3-4 working days for cheque clearance, and up to 9 days for echeque clearance through paypal.
Keeping you informed:
We will keep you up to date with how your purchase is progressing, and will let you know when it has been posted so that you know when to expect it!
Paypal buyer protection:
Full protection is automatically given to buyers who pay by Paypal!
Feedback:
Feedback will be left promptly for completed transactions, and we sincerely hope you will leave feedback for us too if you are happy with the service we provide and the items bought.
Disputes:
We will endeavour to resolve any disputes as promptly as possible, as we wish to offer the best possible customer service, and are keen to build and preserve a good feedback rating and avoid negative feedback.
