FAQs

Q). Are we the cheapest suppliers of hearing aid accessories around?
A). Maybe not, but we are VERY reasonable and our service is RED HOT. Our hearing aid batteries for instance sell for a fraction of the price of most high street chains and national hearing aid companies.

Q). Why do you only supply certain brands of hearing aid batteries?
A). Over the years we have tried other manufacturers of hearing aid batteries but have found Rayovac, Duracell, Power One and Zenipower hearing aid batteries to be the most reliable.

Q). Do you supply hearing aid accessories overseas or just to the UK?
A). We are based in the UK but we can supply our goods worldwide. We offer FREE SHIPPING within the UK, shipping to European Union countries is usually £3.00 GBP per item and to the rest of the world is usually £4.00 GBP per item with a slight discount on shipping for multiple items. (We also have an option of Recorded and Special delivery for UK customers and Royal Mail International Signed For where overseas customers require a tracked service). On certain high value items the only option for shipping overseas is Royal Mail International Signed For, a tracked service at £9.50.

Q). I'm not sure which size of hearing aid battery / dome / waxtrap I need etc?
A). If you are unsure you are ordering the correct item or need any other advice, please contact us giving as much detail as you can. The make, model and serial number of your hearing aids is really useful information to help us to find what you need.

Q). How long will it take for my goods to arrive?
A). Orders from within the UK tend to take 2-4 days from purchase to arrive. Outside the UK orders can take longer, typically 1.5 - 2 weeks, or in the case of Italy, Greece and Malta in particular, up to 3-4 weeks. (All orders are processed same day or next day excepting weekends and bank holidays etc., once the goods leave us we are at the mercy of the postal services...) If you have any doubts AT ALL about your local postal services please pay the extra for a tracked service!
We fully expect for you to receive your goods within the times we are suggesting but please let us know if you encounter any undue delay.

Q). Is your service reliable?
A). Check out our eBay feedback page which will give you an idea of how great our customer care is. We have well over 5000 100% positive feedback on eBay and are classed as 'Top Rated Sellers'. We want to offer you great prices and excellent service!

Q). How can I pay for my order?
A). We have secure payment facilities arranged through Paypal, you can pay via your Paypal account (if you have one), or via secure payment from your credit / debit card. Just follow the instructions at Checkout.

Q). Do you offer discounts for bulk purchases or postage discounts for multiple items?
A). The discounts on shipping are built into our shipping model and do not offer additional discounts. We will consider additional shipping discounts ONLY on battery orders over 600 cells and only if shipping costs are reduced due to the volume of the order.

Q). What is your policy on returns and refunds
A). If you would like to return an item you have up to 30 days to do so, the goods must be in their original unopened packaging and fit for re-sale, we will refund the item in full less postage. If an item is faulty then we will refund you in full including postage within 30 days of delivery. If you have any questions about our refund or return policy please contact us

Q). What about old expired batteries, do you offer recycling facilities?
A). Under the Waste Battery Regulations, we are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries at our trading address listed at the bottom of all our listings under ‘Business Seller Information’. You can return your waste batteries to our business premises in person (please do not post), or alternatively you can find your nearest local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.co.uk
Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.

Q). Can you recommend anyone for hearing aid repairs, hearing tests and replacement of lost hearing aids, or perhaps advice on replacing hearing aids a bit past their sell-by date?
A). We sure can! In the first instance contact us with as much information as you can supply, we'll always do our best to help. We are part of a national network of independent hearing aid audiologists covering the whole of the UK.
