Warranties and Returns


'No fault - No quibble' returns within 10 days

If you change your mind about your purchase for whatever reason, you may return the item, unused, in its original condition to us for an exchange or refund.

STEP 1: Please email greenboxebay@gmail.com to receive instructions on how to proceed.

STEP 2: Please remember to ask for a Proof of Postage certificate from the Post Office or your chosen courier when returning goods, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit without it.

Manufacturers' inspection charges for 'no fault found' items are far higher than ours, and, if the item requires a full inspection from the manufacturer, their charge will be passed on to the customer.

Our promise to replace products or refund your money does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Item Condition

Greenboxshop has been established specifically to give eBay customers the opportunity to purchase electrical goods with slight cosmetic imperfections. Accordingly, and unless stated otherwise in the auction, our products will be in Grade B or Grade C condition.

'B' grade items are guaranteed to be in working order but will have some signs of usage, such as small scuff marks and light scratches. They will normally come in original picture boxes, but may come in recycled boxes.

Grade 'C' items are guaranteed to be in working order. They will be fully functional, but with noticeable cosmetic marks observed in normal daylight, such as a dent or gouge in the casing. There will also be scratches on the screen but these will not prevent the phone from functioning properly. They will NOT contain accessories but will have the main handset, battery and charger within the box. The packaging may not be the original manufacturers and may come in recycled packaging.

They will NOT have great big chunks knocked out of them or look like they have been battered nonstop for two years! Most of the visible usage will only be noticeable under inspection with a light. Don't be scared - these items look the same as if you used them for a few weeks at home and are sold in working condition.

Moreover, our standard warranty period and terms of service are the same on all our products regardless of cosmetic condition. This includes our trained team of technicians thoroughly checking all items using a line and exchange simulator to make sure the item is not faulty and that everything is complete, including instructions. Every year thousands of electrical products are returned by customers to major high street retailers and mail order houses under their 14 or 28 day money back guarantee. These products, in many cases have never been used or taken out of the box. This also includes electrical products which fail quality standards due to damaged packaging or slight cosmetic imperfections.

90 Day Warranty

The warranty on all products is 'return to base' and valid for a period of 90 days from date of delivery.

If during this period, Greenboxshop is notified of any fault in any product, due to either faulty design or a defect in manufacturing or materials, Greenboxshop will replace or repair the product, depending upon the nature of the fault. Greenboxshop may also, at its own discretion, refund the purchase price of the faulty product.

A copy of the purchase invoice (Proof of Purchase) must accompany any returned product.

Greenboxshop must be notified of the faulty product prior to it being returned to Greenboxshop. The cost of returning the product will be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed by Greenboxshop.

The warranty does not cover accidental or wilful damage.

Consumables (ink cartridges, handset batteries, tapes etc) are not covered by the warranty after a period of 28 days from the date of delivery.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please make sure parcels are adequately protected for transportation as we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods in transit being sent to us by a third party. Please also remember to ask for a Proof of Postage certificate from the Post Office or your chosen courier when returning goods. This is for your own security and insurance against items lost in transit. We cannot accept responsibility for any product(s) lost in transit if you return them without a Proof of Posting certificate.

Please do not send any returns to any other address other than the returns address as shown above. Only returns sent to the correct address will be processed.

The sale does not end for us when you have paid! We take pride in our customer service and we want to help you, so please be reasonable with your requests, polite in your emails and understanding of the pressures we work under and we will do our best to reciprocate.
