The late 1980s were heady days for the music & club scene. Manchester's Hacienda blazed the trail accompanying beats from an uprising of underground raves sweeping the North.
The Donnelly Brothers made their name in this same hedonistic scene, hosting some of the first warehouse parties in Manchester & London and influencing dance culture from within. At the same time, this incredible energy was ploughed into clothing memorabilia which drew attention from ultimate industry insiders.
Thus, Gio-Goi was born; a credible label from the central figures in music for their friends in the scene.
Today, Gio-Goi's famous lines remain more than just merchandise. They represent an attitude, a way of life and as such are still standing alongside the biggest names in music. The brand continues to be worn by emerging generations and are proud to be live music, late nights,
