Not sure about the date. The rear of the pack says 07 : 14, is this July 2014? The front of the pack says ‘lasts 3 years’.

Rechargeable batteries do not have useby date-07.14 is code-how can they be 9 years old when they are in new packaging which was changed two years ago by Duracell. Lasts 3 years when regularly used
