Choosing the Right Shade

Firstly determine your skin colouring:

Fair: You have fair skin which burns very easily and never tans, most likely Caucasian, you wear the lightest shade of foundation.

Light: You have pale skin which burns easily but tans slightly, most likely Caucasian or very light skinned East Asian.

Medium: You have a good amount of natural colour or you are pale and use a sunless tanner, you tan gradually and rarely burn, most likely Caucasian or light skinned East Asian.

Tan: You have a very good amount of colour, you tan well and never burn, most likely tanned Caucasian, mediterranean, Asian, Light African.

Dark: You have the darkest skin and wear the darkest shade of foundation, most likely African.

Determining Your Skin Tone:

Getting to know your skins undertones helps you to choose the right shade, there are cool and warm tones, so which one are you?

Warm: Your skin has peachy or golden undertones, your hair is most likely auburn, warm brown, strawberry blonde or golden blonde, the veins in your arms are more green than blue. You suit clothes which are ivory or cream rather than pure white, you suit gold jewellery rather than silver.

Cool: Your skin has pink/red or blue undertones, your hair is likely to be black, ash brown or ash blonde, the veins in your arms or more blue than green. You suit clothes with are deep colours such as dark purple and green, you suit pure white and silver/white gold jewellery.

Olive: Your skin has strong yellow or olive undertones, found among Hispanics, Asians and Mediterranean’s.

Neutral: Your skin is a combination of cool and warm undertones.

Funky Fresh Shades in original matte finish:

Lilly (00): The lightest shade for those with naturally very fair skin or those who want to achieve almost white skin.

Neutral-Fair (01): Fair to light shade with balanced undertones.

Latte (02): Light beige shade with balanced undertones.

Candy (03): Light shade with pinky undertones.

Almond (04): Light olive shade with yellow undertones.

Fudge (05): Light shade with warm peachy undertones.

Neutral-Light (06): Light to medium shade with balanced undertones.

Caramel (07) Light to medium beige shade with balanced undertones

Honey (08): Medium shade with warm peachy undertones

Toffee (09): Medium shade with pinky undertones.

Neutral-Medium(10): Medium shade with balanced undertones.

Walnut (11): Medium tan shade with balanced undertones.

Maple (12): Medium tan shade with peachy/pinky undertones.

Pistachio (13): Medium to dark tan shade with olive/yellow undertones.

Neutral-Dark (14): Dark shade with balanced undertones.

Mocha (15): The darkest shade with cool undertones.

Cover Up Foundation: For heavier coverage, with kaolin clay great for those with combination and oily skin.  Available in Fair, Light, Medium, Tan & Dark

Soft Glow Foundation: Has a light diffusing subtle glow which gives a slight sheen to the skin. Available in Fair, Light, Medium, Tan & Dark.

 

 If you are unsure about which colour  to choose order a few samples to try, you can mix shades together to custom blend your own foundation.  All our products are available in refill bags which makes mixing them easier.
