Adobe
Student and Teacher Editions are for students, teachers, school staff
and other
educators who meet Adobe eligibility guidelines. Proof of eligibility
will be
required after purchase in order to use the software.
Individuals
will be authorised for only one licence of any Adobe Student and
Teacher
Edition title.
Eligibility
for Adobe Student and Teacher Editions
Adobe
Student and Teacher Editions are for use by:
•
University and college students – students enrolled at a
higher education
institution defined as an accredited public or private university or
college
(including community, junior or vocational college) that grants degrees
requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time
study;
•
Primary
and secondary school students – students enrolled at an
accredited public or
private primary or secondary school providing full-time
instruction;
•
Faculty
and staff--teachers and staff employed by an accredited primary or
secondary
school or a public or private university or college.
Required
proof of eligibility
In
order
to receive a serial number, individuals must provide proof that they
are an
eligible user of Adobe Student and Teacher Edition software. The
following is
needed to provide evidence of eligibility:
Students
Students
must provide a photocopy of a valid, current student ID that includes
the
student’s name, date and a photo. If the student does not
have such an ID, he
or she must instead provide a photocopy of a valid photo ID and one of
the
following items:
•
Official, current non-photo student ID with name and date;
•
Official, current school transcript indicating name of school and
student;
•
Official, current school tuition bill indicating name of school and
student;
•
Official, current report card indicating name of school and
student;
•
Other
official dated proof of enrolment.
Students
who are younger than 18 and do not have a valid photo ID may provide an
official letter from their eligible school stating their name and
current
enrolment status. Teachers, faculty and staff Teachers, faculty and
staff must
provide a photocopy of a valid, current school ID that includes their
name,
date and a photo. If the educator does not have such an ID, he or she
must
instead provide a photocopy of a valid photo ID and one of the
following
items:
•
Faculty
or staff payslip;
•
Official letter from the registrar of the educational
institution.
Restrictions
on use
Individuals
may purchase only one licence of any Adobe Student and Teacher Edition.
This
licence may be used only on privately owned computers. Adobe Student
and
Teacher Edition products may not be resold.
Instructions
for serial number retrieval
You
will
need the following before you begin:
•
Your
current email address, so that we can contact you when your serial
number is
available
•
The
coupon code printed in the upper left corner of the Student and Teacher
Edition
order fulfillment process instructions (inside your Adobe Student and
Teacher
Edition box)
•
A
digital copy of your proof of eligibility (see below for required
documents and
acceptable formats)
Step
1:
Go online: Enter the Adobe Customer Support Portal (http://www.adobe.com/uk/support/).
Step
2:
Create an Adobe ID: Log in to the portal using your Adobe ID. If you do
not
have an Adobe ID, please create one. You will need this ID to retrieve
your
serial number online and to submit any future support
questions.
Step
3:
Provide your eligibility information: Fill out the online Student and
Teacher
Edition order fulfillment form.
Step
4:
Upload your proof of eligibility: Attach a digital copy of your proof
of
eligibility and submit your customer service case.
Step
5:
Get your serial number: You will receive an email from Adobe within two
business days. This email will contain your serial number in an
attached PDF.
You may also retrieve your serial number by logging into the Adobe
Customer
Support Portal with your Adobe ID and opening the customer service case
that
you created when you submitted your proof of eligibility.
Step
6: Install your product: Install your Adobe Student and
Teacher Edition software. When prompted, enter the serial number
provided by
Adobe Customer Support.
