Discount Musical acknowledges and complies with the UK Distance Selling Regulations and the customer has a right to cancel an order for items purchased from eBay, by telephone, email or eBay message. This does not apply to items personalised or made to a specific specification, including software that has been unsealed and/or registered with the manufacturer in the customer’s name.
Products may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery providing they have not been used, are in new condition and include all original packaging. Discount Musical will not refund the cost of delivering the item to the customer and returns are at the customer's expense. Products may not be returned to Discount Musical for refund later than 30 days from delivery unless the goods are defective and we are unable to comply with our warranty commitment.
All products carry a 1 year warranty against failure. If items become defective within 30 days of purchase then Discount Musical will arrange collection of the product, and arrange delivery of a replacement or repaired product back to the customer free of charge. No replacement products issued will be older or in worse condition than original products returned by the purchaser. Defective products will be replaced or repaired within a reasonable timescale (maximum 30 days). Products older than one month must be returned at the purchasers cost, although the Discount Musical does offer a warranty collection service. Discount Musical may arrange for defective items under warranty to be collected from the customer for a small fee to cover the collection costs. This is usually £9.99, but may be more for large or heavy items.
Terms of payment are cheques and crossed postal orders made payable to Discount Musical Instruments Ltd (cheques must be cleared before delivery of goods). Credit/Debit cards are accepted via our secure payment provider PayPal. Discount Musical will accept purchase orders on 30 day credit terms from registered educational establishments and government departments. Goods remain the property of Discount Musical until paid for in full.
Discount Musical reserves the right to part ship orders and will use its best endeavours to comply with the date named for delivery, but this date is provided as an estimate only and is not to be the essence of the contract. Discount Musical cannot be held responsible for loss of business or income due to shipment delays of any kind. Whilst Discount Musical makes every effort to ensure that goods supplied correspond in every respect with the specification or description provided as the case may be, Discount Musical is not responsible for minor variations in specification, and no such minor variation shall be the subject of any claim against the them.
Privacy Statement
Discount Musical Instruments Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect or store any credit or debit card details from website transactions, these are handled directly by our third party merchant and we are not privy to the details. Any credit card details given to us over the phone or by fax will be securely destroyed once the payment has been taken.
The only details retained by us are email, name and address details. This information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, disclosed, or loaned in any way or form.
Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.
