| We've written this page to explain a little bit about eBay's new 'Car parts compatibilty'.
They have introduced a new function where buyers can narrow down the search to items that are specific to their car, and eBay have even been as brave to tell buyers that 'sorry this item does not fit your car' if their system thinks it won't.
The problem is this, this system has been in the wings for months but us sellers have had no way to access it to modify our listings. This means that most car parts on eBay at the moment are returned as 'not specified' in the search results.
We don't feel we can trust this system and as such are going to wait and see the effects before we update our 1000+ listings.
