Returns Policies & Money Back Guarantees
ITEMS 'NOT AS DESCRIBED' OR FAULTY:
It is important to me that you are happy with the item you receive. Therefore I offer both UK and overseas buyers the reassurance of a full money back guarantee (or replacement if preferred) in the unlikely event that the item is not 'as described' in the listing or faulty, providing that the item is returned to me no later than 30 days after the date it was purchased.
In the first instance, please contact me via Ebay messages to let me know the problem and wait for a reply prior to sending an item back, so we can mutually agree on the best course of action.
Unless faulty, returned items must be received back in the same condition as they were sent (unopened packaging & labels in tact etc). Please ensure a returned item is well packaged and suitable postal insurance is obtained for your own protection as a refund can only be given once an item is received.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT AN ITEM:
For 'Buy It Now' items only (auctions exempt), UK & overseas buyers can, for any reason, return an item for a refund of the item cost, as long as you contact me via eBay messages within 5 days and the item is posted back to me within 7 days of receiving it. In this event, all postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please only return your item after you have received a reply with instructions for return.
To receive a full refund of the item cost, returned items must be received back as they were sent - in new, resaleable condition (unopened packaging & labels in tact etc). Please ensure a returned item is well packaged and suitable postal insurance is obtained for your own protection as a refund can only be given once an item is received.
ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED IN THE POST:
In the unlikely event that your item gets lost or damaged in the post, I guarantee to issue a full refund (or replacement if preferred) as follows:
Royal Mail consider that a parcel is lost if it has not been received 15 working days (3 weeks) after the date of posting within the UK. For parcels sent overseas, the time frame is 25 working days (5 weeks). Therefore if you have not received your item and this amount of time has passed, please contact me via eBay messages. In your message, please confirm that the address details displayed on the Paypal payment page are correct and that you have made the neccessary checks with your local parcel sorting office (your parcel may have been left with a neighbour, in an outbuilding or it may be at the sorting office waiting to be collected - from past experience, on the odd occasion your postman may have 'forgotten' to leave you a card to let you know!).
Please also provide an email address and I will then email you a pre approved Royal Mail declaration. All the details will already be filled in for you - all you need to do is sign and date it and return it to me. On receipt of this, I will then file a claim with with Royal Mail on your behalf but to save you having to wait the lengthy time it takes for them to process the claim, instead I guarantee to refund your full payment (including postage costs) in advance of this, back into your Paypal account as soon as I receive the declaration from you.
The above procedure is exactly the same if you receive your item and it has been damaged in the post. You must let me know within 21 days (35 days for overseas buyers) of the item being sent if damage has occurred but preferably as soon as you receive your parcel. Depending on the circumstances, I will advise you if the item needs to be returned to me or photographed and retained. Please note that you must retain all the packaging it arrived in as it may be required by Royal Mail at a later date.
