International Postage Information
DISPATCH GUARANTEES AND DELIVERY INFORMATION:
I offer delivery to all countries, worldwide and provide the reassurance of a money back guarantee in the unlikely event that your parcel is lost or damaged in the post, as detailed lower down this page.
You should automatically see the postage cost for your country displayed on each items' listing. If for some reason this is not displayed you can manually select your country from the drop down menu within the Postage and Packing section. To find out about automatic postage discounts when you buy additional items, please click on the 'Postage Discounts' link above.
All products listed are in stock so your item is guaranteed to be posted 1-2 working days after cleared payment is received (posting days are a minimum of 3 times per week, most commonly Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays). All overseas parcels are sent by Royal Mail AirMail (unless otherwise requested in advance of sending payment) and the postage cost stated on all listings is for this service. Standard AirMail parcels are not tracked but having sent hundreds of items internationally this way, I have always found it to be an extremely reliable overseas postal service.
However if you prefer a signature on delivery and a tracking number for your parcel, 'International Signed For' offers this and can be added as an extra service to standard AirMail. This is an additional £3.70 (for all countries) and I can add this amount to your invoice, if you request it before paying. The above price is per parcel rather than per item, so if you are buying more than 1 item it may be possible to put 2 or more items in one parcel, so you only pay this additional cost once - this depends on the each items' size, weight and price so please contact me and I can advise on this.
Royal Mail do not guarantee delivery times for overseas parcels but in most cases your parcel will arrive approximately 3-4 working days after posting to European destinations and in around 5 working days to all other countries worldwide (although from experience, parcels to Turkey, South Africa and Mexico can occasionally take longer).
I always take great care to attach all the relevant extra information needed for international parcels, to avoid any unneccessary delays. With regard to customs charges, going by past experience from my international buyers, most parcels I send overseas do not incur a customs fee. However, I obviously can not guarantee this as it naturally depends on the customs rules of the country you are in. For Norwegian buyers, I can give advice on parcel value limits, if you are unsure of this.
POSTAGE COSTS EXPLAINED:
As accepted within eBays' policy on postage charges for registered businesses, the postage price for each item includes packaging and handling as well as Royal Mail's cost for the postage label. Please only buy if you are happy with the p&p cost displayed. It is important to remember that the actual cost of the Royal Mail stamp is only one part of the over alI costs involved. I guarantee that there is no profit from this fee and it is calculated to ensure it will cover no more than these costs. I hope you can take this into account when leaving a rating for this part of your feedback.
ADDING OR SELECTING AN ALTERNATIVE ADDRESS IN PAYPAL:
So as not to delay the dispatch of your item, it is important that the correct delivery address is displayed just before you click to pay on the Paypal payment page, as this is the only address that your item can be sent to. This ensures both buyer & seller Paypal protection and is also required by Royal Mail in the event of a claim for loss or damage of your parcel. If you request the item sending to a different address after you pay, I will need to refund the payment which will then allow you to change or add the required delivery address before resending your payment.
If you require your parcel sending to a gift address or your work place for example, it is possible to select or add an alternative address within Paypal prior to sending your payment by following the instructions below:
Option A) If you already have the alternative address stored in Paypal, proceed to pay as normal; it will always show your main postal details by default but there is a CHANGE button you can click, allowing you to select the address you want your item delivered to.
or
Option B) If you don't have your alternative address already stored, log into your PayPal acount - click MY ACCOUNT - then hovver over PROFILE and select ADD OR EDIT ADDRESS - then ADD ADDRESS - you can choose ADD MY ADDRESS or ADD A GIFT ADDRESS and enter the address details. You can then proceed to pay as above in option A), remembering to click the CHANGE button to select the alternative address before you pay.
AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS LISTED IN OTHER COUNTRIES AND WITH DIFERENT CURRENCIES:
As well as listing on eBay UK, I occasionally list on other eBay sites including Australia and France and these are visible in my eBay shop alongside my UK listings. Irrespective of the currency or country items are listed on, they are available to buyers in any country, worldwide as long as you hold a Paypal account (you will still pay in your own currency as Paypal will automatically convert it at the checkout for you). To see the correct postage rate, just select your country as normal, from the drop down menu in the Postage & Packing section of the listing.
ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED IN THE POST:
In the unlikely event that your item gets lost or damaged in the post, I guarantee to issue a full refund (or replacement if preferred), as described below.
Royal Mail consider that an international parcel is lost if it has not been received 25 working days (5 weeks) after the date of posting. This is to allow time for an item to be delivered overseas - it may have been held at a local delivery office in the destination country and be waiting for collection or redelivery if no one was at home to accept the item when delivery was initially attempted. Or it may not have been delivered for some reason in which case it will be returned to the sender in the UK.
Therefore if you have not received your item and this amount of time has passed, please contact me via eBay messages. In your message, please state the full address that you expected the item to arrive at and confirm that you have made checks to see if your parcel has been left with a neighbour or at your local delivery office (the postman may have attempted delivery at the wrong address or forgotton to leave a card).
Please also provide an email address and I will then email you a pre-approved Royal Mail declaration. The details will already be filled in for you - all you need to do is sign and date it and return it to me. On receipt of this, I will then file a claim with with Royal Mail on your behalf but to save you having to wait the lengthy time it takes for them to process the claim, instead I guarantee to refund your full payment (including postage costs) in advance of this, back into your Paypal account as soon as I receive the declaration from you.
The above procedure is exactly the same if you receive your item and it has been damaged in the post. You must let me know within 21 days of the item being sent if damage has occurred but preferably as soon as you receive your parcel. Depending on the circumstances, I will advise you if the item needs to be returned to me or photographed and retained. Please note that you must retain all the packaging your item arrived in, as it may be required by Royal Mail at a later date.
