Frequently Asked Questions
 Q: How Do You Describe Your Items?
  A: We take a lot of time to inspect all of our products for sale. All of our products are BRAND NEW unless otherwise stated. We offer goods that are either ex-shop stock, superseded models or current year models at a great discount. Our listings will detail exactly what the goods on offer are and the precise condition they are in.
 Q: Can I pick up my items?
  A: Yes, we are happy for you to pick up your items, but only from our St kilda location in Victoria AFTER you have completed your purchase and payment online. Please bring proof of purchase eg a copy of your receipt and let us know ahead of time as ebay items are not kept in store and ebay staff do not work full time.
 Q: Do You Offer Combined Postage?
  A: Often we'll have more than one of an item. Tyres are a good example. If you want more than one item, you can take advantage of our combined postage discount - just send us an e-mail letting us know what you're after and we'll do the rest. Typically you'll save half of the original postage price on second items of the same type purchased.
 Q: What Postage Rates Do You Charge?
  A: We base our postage rates on the cost to us from Australia Post. It's not our idea to profit from postage rates!
 Q: What Postage Services Do You Offer?
  A: For items that make sense to post in an Express Post envelope, we do so. For other items that are either heavy or bulky we use a courier service - we use Couriers Please for all of our national deliveries.
 Q: Can I Get A Tracking Number For My Item Delivery?
  A: Yes. Express Post packages all have associated tracking numbers. These are available to all of our customers purchasing from our eBay store. Courier delivered items also have tracking facilities associated with them - if you're buying a bulky item that's being delivered by courier, we will be able to furnish a tracking number.
 Q: What Methods Of Payment Do You Accept?
  A: Typically we prefer PayPal. If you really want to pay via another method, just let us know and we'll arrange it. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Eftpos etc. So if you'd like to use these methods just let us know via e-mail or call us up to discuss your needs.
 Q: How Long Do I Have To Pay?
  A: Typically we expect payment within 3 days of our sending you an invoice for your purchase. Should you fail to pay within this time-frame, it's okay! We'll send you a reminder. Should your purchase remain unpaid for more than two weeks we will send the case to dispute resolution.
 Q: Can I Return An Item?
  A: Yes. We stand behind every single item we sell. If you need to return an item, just send us a message saying you are returning the item and once it is received we'll process the refund. Please note paypal is the easiest way for us to refund items.
 Q: How Long Do I Have To Return An Item?
  A: We appreciate that sometimes customers need to return products. That's no problem at all when you shop with us! We allow customers 7 days to contact us and arrange for a return. All returned goods MUST be in original packaging and MUST be in the same condition in which they were sent.
 Q: Do I Have To Pay For Return Postage?
  A: Yes. But we will refund you the ENTIRE original purchase price including your original postage charge.
 Q: Are Your Goods Warrantied?
  A: Yes. Every item we sell carries the original manufacturer warranty.
 Q: Are You Under Cutting My Local Bike Shop?
  A: It's not our intention to undercut pricing from your local bike shop. Nothing beats having a physical place you can go to discuss your cycling needs and we fully support the idea of shopping locally. If you find an item in our eBay store that's far cheaper than your local shop, talk to them about it - they may well match our pricing!
 Q: Where Do You Source Your Product From?
  A: A lot of our items are stock items from our physical stores - either goods that, for whatever reason, haven't sold in store but are still current models or that are now a superseded model. We also work with various distributors to clear their back-stock. This is a fantastic way for you to save on all of your cycling needs!
 Q: How Long Will My Item Take To Arrive?
  A: Delivery times are dependent on Australia Post express post satchels usually arrive next day. Generally we dispatch goods within a day of your purchase but occasionally it might take up 5 days.
 Q: Do You Stock Items That Aren't On Your eBay Store?
  A: Yes! We have two physical bike stores in Melbourne - one in South Melbourne on the corner of Park Street and Kings Way, and the other in St Kilda on the corner of Carlisle Street and Brighton Road.  Q: Will You Ship Internationally?
  A: In general we don't send goods internationally. This is because of the normally prohibitive expense of the postage itself. If you really want something we have for sale and you need it shipped internationally and are happy to pay the relevant postage rate, then we're more than happy to service your needs. Send us an e-mail, we'll do what we can.
 Q: How Long Has bikeNOW Been In Business?
  A: We've been in business continuously since 1986. We've a wealth of experience in all facets of cycling and have been integral to the development of the local cycling scene.
 Q: What Types Of Bicycles Do You Provide?
  A: We can provide any type of bicycle you desire [with the exception of recumbent bikes]: Road, Track, Time Trial, Cross Country, Downhill, BMX, Trials, Single Speed, Single Speed Cross Country, Cyclo-Cross... the list goes on! Just let us know what you're looking for and we'll do our best to help you out!
 Q: What Do You Sell?
  A: We sell bicycles, bicycle parts, accessories, road shoes, mountain bike shoes, wheelsets, rims, forks etc. Basically, if it's got to do with bicycles then we sell it. If you don't find what you're looking for on our store, drop us a line - chances are we can source something just for you!
 Q: How Do I Know The Goods Are In The Condition You Say They Are?
  A: We pride ourselves on our excellent feedback. We'll be upfront and honest with you about the condition of our offered items as well as the details of each item. You can be sure that you'll get exactly what we've detailed in our listings. If you're not 100% happy with your purchase, we'll refund your money or offer an exchange item.
