We sell all of our
metal item's contents as described by our suppliers. We describe them as
such in good faith, but have not checked any of their claims.
To keep beads and all jewellery in good condition do not wear when applying skin care products, especially hand creams if wearing bracelets.
Plated items, these are
either silver, gold or platinum plated onto copper or an alloy. We do our best
to describe these items accurately. If looked after these items will last
for years but all plating will wear off eventually, so the care of jewellery
mentioned above is very important.
All Tibetan Silver is an alloy of many possible metals, including copper, lead, nickel and silver. Do not clean like silver just rub with a soft cloth.
Where items are marked Nickel Free (NF). We are told by our supplier that these are nickel free, however we understand that other countries have different standards to the EU.
Platinum is an
inert metal so is particularly useful for people who have skin allergies. (platinum is a very expensive precious metal (normally twice the price of gold!).
