Defective and Broken Items:
Any defective items will be handled through the manufacturer. Defective items are not the fault of Babyhaven.com and will be handled through the manufacturer’s warranty.
Items that are damaged in shipping will be replaced at Babyhaven.com’s expense. We will file a damage claim and have your item picked up and replaced. Please contact us within 7 business days of receiving the broken item.
Returns:
Baby-Haven will gladly accept returns for purchases made on Ebay that you are unhappy with within 30 days of delivery. Any returned item must be unused, in the unopened box with all labels attached, including all packaging materials and instruction manuals.
All returns are subject to our original shipping costs, a 15% restocking fee, as well as any return shipping costs. Our original shipping costs are not what you were charged with your order, but rather our actual cost incurred by us from the shipping company. If you would like to know our actual cost to ship a particular item before you order it, please contact us.
An item returned that meets our guidelines will only be subject to a 15% restocking fee. However, if it is returned opened, used, or otherwise in a condition where we cannot resell it as new, you will be subject to the following restocking fees:
- New and unopened - 15% - This means that the manufacturer's retail box is not opened.
- Opened - 25% - This means that the manufacturer’s box was opened to check the contents, but there are no broken seals, punctured plastic wrap, missing manuals, torn labels, etc.
- Opened + more - 30% - This means that the manufacturer’s box has been opened and there is punctured or opened plastic wrap, torn instruction manuals, etc.
- Used - 40% - This means that the item was used. There will be visible signs of use by the Baby-Haven inspector.
Any item that is returned broken or unusable will be assessed a restocking fee on a per case basis.
Some items cannot be returned. They include, but are not limited to, special order items, customized items, pacifiers, blankets, diapers, and other items that cannot be returned due to sanitary policies or special reasons. To make a return please email ebay@babyhaven.com with all your order information as well as the item condition.
We will email you back with a RMA number that you can print out and include with your return. We must receive the item back with 10 days after issuing your RMA.
Defective Items
Items that are damaged in shipping will be replaced by Babyhaven.com. Damaged items are not eligible for a refund, but only a free replacement.
Items that are defective upon arrival are the responsibility of the manufacturer and not Babyhaven.com. Babyhaven.com is a retailer and does not offer warranties for any of its products, however, buying through Babyhaven.com will entitle you to any warranty that is offered by the manufacturer. Defective items will be replaced or repaired at the manufacturer's discretion. It is the buyer's responsibility to wait for the manufacturer to replace or repair their product. You can return a defective item under our standard return policy, but we recommend filing a warranty claim with the manufacturer to avoid any shipping costs or restocking fees.
