Who are OMP
and what do they do?
OMP Racing
was born in 1973 from the great passion for motor sport of Percivale
brothers. In the headquarters of Quinto al Mare (Genoa) the brothers
starting manufacturing and selling roll cages, strut braces and other
components for competition cars, which they used themselves.
Nowadays
OMP has a leading role on an international level in the sectors:
Racing
(safety accessories for competitions cars and drivers), Tuning (special
accessories for road cars), karting (accessories and components for kart
races) and sportswear.
 Production
having reached such a high level that the factory of Ronco Scrivia (Genoa)
has been recently enlarged, covering a surface of 30,000 square meters, of
which approximately 9,000 covered.
ISO
9001 certified quality standards, know-how and global offer are the
strong points of OMP. A packed catalogue, containing more than 4500
products constantly updated and expanded, meets the requirements of
customers from all over the world: over 70% of the turnover is covered by
export sales.
   All
products are designed and manufactured in order to get the maximum safety.
Just, as an example, think of roll bars, strut bars, seats or
fire-resistant suits (like the one used by Michael Schumacher for many
years). A great number of these products, as a confirmation of their
quality, are homologated by the most important international sports
associations.
The
co-operation with top F1, Rally, Touring teams, as well as one make
trophies has also improved the tuning products, using sophisticated
technologies as requested in motorsports. These technologies enable the
tuning fans, not only to modify their cars' appearance with a look both
sporty and aggressive, but also to use components designed to offer
improved driving performance and safety.
OMP
has always paid great care and attention to product marketing and exposure
thanks to Racing, Tuning, Karting and Sportswear catalogues printed in
four languages, to the recognizable packaging as well as the participation
in the most important specialized exhibitions of the sector and the realization
