Problem with your purchase?
eBay encourage Buyers and Sellers to resolve issues amicably, without opening dispute cases, and before leaving feedback.
What first?
As a seller, we’re not always able to provide technical advice or have specific knowledge of all the products we sell.
In the first instance, please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions/FAQ's/Trouble-shooting/Help guides provided with your purchase, to establish whether you are able to resolve the problem.
We also recommend you check the manufacturers web-site, or contact the manufacturer directly, details of which may be contained with your purchase.
What next?
If you’re still unable to resolve the problem, please let us know immediately.

Faulty Products
We occasionally stock spare parts. We do not have the facility to repair products.
XS Electrical provides a warranty on faulty products as detailed below. All warranty periods are applicable from the date of payment.
Products sold as "New" come with a 12 month warranty. Products sold as "Used" and "Refurbished" 1 month warranty.
If your item develops a fault within the applicable warranty period, a full refund or replacement subject to availability will be offered. Once the product has been returned to the Outlet team for assessment and verification of the fault.
To qualify for a refund the product must be:
in the same condition as supplied to you complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it if possible, with the original box and packaging
The above warranties do not cover non-faulty products, nor issues caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.
If a product is returned as faulty but found not to have a manufacturing fault or if a fault has developed as a result of accident, neglect or misuse, no costs will be refunded.
Exchanges
If your purchase develops a fault within the applicable warranty period, we may offer an exchange for the same, or a similar product. This is dependent on our current stock. If we don’t have stock available for an exchange, this option will not be available to you.
All exchanges are at the discretion of XS Electrical.
If a product is returned as faulty but found not to have a manufacturing fault or if a fault has developed as a result of accident, neglect or misuse, no exchange will be provided, and no costs will be refunded.
Non-faulty returns
If you change your mind, and wish to return your order, you must notify us of the same within 7 days of the date of delivery. Unwanted returns are not accepted after this period.

To qualify for a refund, unwanted products must be:
unopened unused in the same condition as supplied to you complete with any accessories and other items offered with it with the original box and packaging
Unwanted products cannot be accepted after 7 days if any of the above criteria are not met.
If a product is returned as unwanted, but the above conditions are not met, no costs will be refunded.
XS Electrical will not be responsible for the postage costs, nor for any loss, damage or costs incurred by the customer in returning unwanted purchases.
How do I return an item?
All items must be returned in accordance with this policy and via the process set out in our return procedure.

We aim to reply within 24 hours (Mon-Fri, 9-5, excluding Bank Holidays) with details of the return procedure and documentation for enclosure within the returns parcel.
Can I send the item back myself?
Faulty items must be returned via the process set out in our returns procedure .
XS Electrical will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or costs incurred by the customer if our returns procedure is not adhered to fully.
When will I receive my refund?
Your Paypal account will be refunded once we have received and inspected your return.
In order to prevent any potential retail fraud, goods must be received for Sellers to have visibility of the returned item before refunds are given.
We’ll email you once the item is received by our warehouse, and we’ve had the opportunity of processing and inspecting it.
You can expect your refund to be processed within 48 hours of us confirming we have received the item. You will receive a separate email confirming your refund has been processed.
Please note that it can take up to 5 days for a refund to appear in your PayPal account. |
