Delivery and FAQs
Postal services vary around the world and delivery speed depends on the delivery country and the item you are ordering. Our standard delivery is usually an un-tracked service and delivery dates can’t be guaranteed. Please note: working days are Monday - Friday and we are based in England.
Most of our books are on hand in our UK warehouse but some are print-on-demand or sourced from around the globe. If your book is in stock with our suppliers, the estimated time it takes us to source the book will be shown under the postage and payments tab on the product page.
As a guide most items have the following delivery estimates after you get a dispatch notification email from us:
United Kingdom around 3-5 working days
Europe around 7-10 working days
USA and Canada around 7-12 working days. For delivery to the USA or Canada, use our eBayUS or eBayCA stores.
Australia and New Zealand around 7-10 working days. For delivery to Australia, use our eBayAU store.
Rest of the World around 7-14 working days
Guaranteed, tracked and signed for next working day UK mainland delivery** (Mon-Fri excluding public holidays and cut-off times apply*). If express delivery is available, for an extra fee, it will be shown as a delivery option to select on the product page. We can’t offer express delivery for all of our books.
*Cut-off ordering times for Express Delivery:
Mon, Tue, Wed or Thurs - order before 17:00 for next working day delivery (15:00 for Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and Islands – this is a two working day service).
Place your order on Fri, Sat or Sun before 10am on Sun for next working day delivery.
Place your order on Sun and public holidays for delivery in two working days.
Our courier does not deliver on public holidays, Sat or Sun.
**Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and Islands are usually a 2 working day service. We don't currently offer Express Delivery to Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey or internationally.
Cancellations or Amendments
We’re often unable to prevent dispatch or make any changes to your order after it’s been confirmed and completed on eBay. However, we’ll always try our best to help so get in touch with us and we’ll see what we can do for you.
Packaging & Postage
As we already work hard on making sure we have great prices, we don’t offer any discounts or combined postage prices. In view of environmental concerns, we ensure the smallest possible number of parcels are used for our deliveries. Sometimes we do have to split shipments as our main aim is to have a speedy service for our customers when dispatch times vary.
We can’t add gift messages but, as we don’t include pricing details in our parcels, Wordery’s still a great choice for sending presents. As the name of the purchaser is not included in the parcel, please let the person who’ll be receiving your gift know that you’ve ordered a present for them from Wordery.
There are no invoices in our parcels, only a dispatch note without pricing information. If you require an invoice, contact us after your order’s been marked as shipped and we’ll forward a PDF version to you.
