Returns
Welding Supplies Direct offer a 14-day cooling off period for all items purchased. The legal requirement is only 7 days but we have doubled that to give you the customer complete peace of mind with your transaction. If in that time you change your mind then we are happy for you to return the item for a full refund. This does not include the cost of the return, so you should ensure that you take out enough postal insurance to cover this.
We will accept returns of any items that do not match the description given on eBay, although we make every effort to ensure that this is a rare occurrence. In this instance the cost of the return will be met by us the company. It is worth noting that any pictures used are for illustrative purposes only and are not always a wholly accurate representation of the final product. We try our best to use actual images wherever possible but please check product descriptions before purchasing. If you are unsure then contact us before making your purchase.
Any damaged items may also be returned in exchange of replacement goods or a refund; again, the company will meet all costs incurred with sending the item back to us.
If you do wish to return your goods to us, then you should, in the first instance, inform us as soon as possible either via telephone or email. We can then give you all necessary information to complete the return. In some instances we may be able to issue an exchange without the need for the return of the original so it is always worth contacting us first.
Items must be returned to us in a saleable condition, you agree to take ‘reasonable care’ of them whilst they are in your possession. The refund will be issued within 30 days of your informing us of your intention to return the goods; this complies with all legal requirements as set out by the Distance Selling Regulations.
To return the items to us we advise using the recorded delivery options, or a courier service, as any parcel that doesn't arrive back to us will be chased within 21 days and proof of postage may be required. In the event of a lost or stolen parcel you will have to claim from the postage/courier.
