Q: I am not so sure what essential oils are... could you tell me?
A: Gladly. Essential oils, aka ethereal or volatile oils are oils which are combined with extracts from nature. Such as rosemary or lavender, among other things. Essential means that they are the essence of what they came from, as pure as could possibly be extracted. They are concentrated and potent of their essence.
Q: What uses do Essential Oils have?
A: They have had many uses in the past and still have many today. Essential oils can be used for anything ranging from aromatherapy, homemade arts such as candles, soaps, and they are not just limited to applications for their smell, they are also very useful as bug repellants and flavors for some food or drink. Some of them also hold various natural medicinal and/or therapeutic properties.
Q: Can I take your oils internally or eat/drink them?
A: Please note, the International Federation of Aromatherapists do not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy.
Q: Are your oils *really* pure?
A: All of our oils are 100% pure as in when you buy 100% pure orange juice at the supermarket. They contain nothing else than the essence of the plant they are extracted from and the oil itself. Since the oils are 100% pure, you need to dilute it before your application.
Q: That’s pretty interesting! But how do I know I am really getting a good quality? How do I know your oils are as pure as you claim?
