• Q. I have emailed you at info@volksignia.co.uk when can I expect a reply?
• A. We aim to answer all VALID emails within 24 hours - if you have not received a reply with the 24 hour period we have not received your email, please resend it & also send a copy to our aol email account - volksignia@aol.com
• Q. I want to order some signs but I want to see a design before I purchase, can you do this?
• A. In exceptional circumstances we will produce artwork before a purchase but only if  you can prove to us you will order when happy with the design - if you then default from the final order we may be forced to issue an invoice to you for the design time (dependent on the amount of time spent designing). We normally only produce artwork when you have purchased from us, this is because of timewasters (asking for a design and never replying to our emails) and also customers stealing the design and taking it to another ebayer or signmaker - all artwork designed before an order is the sole ownership of Volksignia, taking our design to another seller or signmaker is theft.
• Q. Some sellers say vinyl cut lettering is easy peeled off, is this true?
• A. No it is not true, there are many so called signmakers on ebay who have never trained or worked for a professional sign group, they make strange and untrue claims that vinyl lettering is easily peeled off - it is not - we use 7 to 10 year high grade vinyl all with a permenant acrylic adhesive, yes you can get them off but it takes some effect to remove them.
• Q. A sellers has stated you can only do simple signs with cut vinyl graphics.
• A. Again another strange claim from inexperienced signmakers - you can produce some very complex design using cut vinyl graphics, we have more than 17 years design experience and are experts at vertorising and manipulating designs using our professional software package. We can produce drop shadows on lettering, vertorise and design great logos, the only thing we do not offer on ebay are photos or very difficult halftone images (we do digital printing but there are additional charges as we use only FULL SOLVENT ink printers). • Q. What payment methods do you accept?
• A. On Ebay we take payments by PAYPAL, we also accept Postal Orders & Cheques
• Q. I want to buy more than one item from you do you offer combined postage (postal discount)
• A. Yes, If buying more than one item email us with the items you intend to purchase, we will then email you a revised postal charge for the items you require.
• Q. How do I send my design details?
• A. Once you have purchased a product from us requiring a design all you have to do is email us at info@volksignia.co.uk with your design details, remember to include any colours you require & any fonts you may like - for more detailed info read the instructions on our listings.
• Q. I have a design already and want to send it to you. How do I do this?
• A. You can forward your artwork to us at info@volksignia.co.uk - you can send us files in the following formats: AI, EPS (illustrator 9 or earlier), CDR (corel draw version 11 or below), JPEG, BITMAP, we can also accept most MICROSOFT word files BUT PLEASE NOTE we do not accept Microsoft Publisher files or .pub files as we cannot open them.
• Q. Do you design my signs for me?
• A. Yes we can design your sign or graphic FREE of charge, we will forward a design to you within 24 hours of your payment and received details, we email the artwork as a GIF format file so you can open in your web browser.
• Q. You have sent a design but I don't like the design & I want to make some changes.
• A. No problem, just email the amendments you require and we will make the changes you require, we will then resend to you for approval.
• Q.How many changes can I make to my design
• A. We will make as many changes to your design as you require, we will ONLY manufacture when you are 100% satisfied with the final design.
• Q. I want to buy a window or vinyl graphic, how easy are they to apply?
• A. Our self apply graphics are easy to apply, with a little patience and DIY skill, we send out with our graphics a FREE fitting instruction guide to make fitting easier.
• Q. Do I get an invoice when I buy from you?
• A. Yes all our items are dispatched with a proper invoice, unlike some sellers on ebay who have even told us 'No we cannot offer an invoice as we are doing it on the side!' - please note we are not currently eligible to charge VAT - so there are NO VAT charges on any of our items. All our invoicing is numbered and we also attach a paypal packing slip or an ebay payment detail slip, depending on how you pay.
• Q. What is City & Guild Qualified?
• A. The owner of Volksignia is City & Guilds Qualified in Signwork, a 2 year signmaking course ending with a practical and written examination. The owner passed with credits on all 3 aspects of the Signwork course, going on to work for over 17 year for 2 of the largest South coast signmakers before starting Volksignia, making us one of the most experienced and professional sign sellers on Ebay uk.

• Q. Do you print your signs or are they cut vinyl graphics?
• A. Volksignia only use the higest grade computer cut vinyl graphics, we are the experts in cut graphics and can produce complex designs without the need to print, do not believe some sellers claims that you can only cut lettering in vinyl, this in untrue, we have created some great looking designs using vinyl graphics. Some ebay sellers use the cheaper ECO SOLVENT printers, this is fine for very short term use but they do not offer the life span of a 7 year life computer cut vinyl. Our graphics do not scratch, fade or peel and offer a long service life.
• Q. I have a photo I want to use on my design, can you do this?
• A. Our ebay listing DO NOT cover printed pictures or imaging, we can print pictures, but there is an additional cost for this, PLEASE contact us with your requirements before committing to ordering. All our printing is done using a professional FULL SOLVENT printer, giving a long service life of up to 5 years exterior use.
• Q. How long will it take to get my signs?
• A. We only manufacture when you have approved the artwork, our usual turnaround time before dispatch is approximately 5 - 7 working days, this allow us to make sure your signs are 100% correct, manufactued properly and to our high quality standards, we recommend you are very wary of sellers offering 24 - 48 hour turnaround time, a professionally made, high quality sign takes a little longer.
• Q. How are my signs dispatched.
• A. We dispatch small items (under 1 kg and under £34.00) by Royal Mail first class post, larger items over 1kg are usually dispatched by Royal mail standard parcels. We obtain a proof of posting for all our items and always email you as soon as your item has been dispatched.
• Q. Why do other sellers have cheaper postal charges?
• A. Some sellers do not really care much about dispatching goods, they use easily purchased packaging and skimp on protective packaging when sending out goods hence their cheap prices, personally I have purchased from similar sellers and have been angry and disappointed when the item has arrived poorly packaged and in some cases badly damaged. At Volksignia we ONLY send out our items properly packaged, all our signs are dispatched in custom made boxes to fit each individual order, all our items are properly bubble wrapped too, we even wrap our packages in strong brown paper, we then tape up using strong packing tape, then we label correctly with easy to read large printed labels. We have NEVER had a single item returned to us due to transit damage. All our items are dispatched with either a care leaflet or instruction leaflet and every purchase is PROPERLY invoiced. This costs just a little more but you receive your items undamaged and ready to use.

• Q. Can you quote on a specific sign I require that is not available in your store?
• A. Yes, email your enquiry to us at info@volksignia.co.uk we reply within 24 hours, if you approve the quote we can then do a special BUY IT NOW one off listing in our ebay store.
• Q. I purchased an item from you and it still has not arrived.
• A. Please allow up to 15 days delivery from our dispatch email (this is the specified timescale before the item is deemed losts by royal mail), after that time we can either manufacture a replacement or can offer a refund.
• Q. I want a sign size that is not available in your ebay shop can you still do it?
• A. Yes, just email the size you require for a free quotation - on acceptance of the price we will list your size in our ebay store on BUY IT NOW for you to purchase from.
• Q. I can buy cheaper elsewhere, why should I buy from you?
• A. Volksignia ONLY use the higest grade of material in all our signs, we NEVER compromise on quality. All our graphics are cut using 7-10 year life high grade vinyl, all are substrates are the BEST materials available, we are City & Guilds qualified & we have over 17 years experience in all aspects of signmaking & design. We believe we are one of the most experienced & professional sign makers currently listing on ebay uk. To be honest if you are only interested in the price  & not the actual product itself then you will find yourself buying and receiving a substandard & poor quality sign.
