TERMS and CONDITIONS of SALES
I try to describe my items as accurately as possible, without misleading in any way and give details of any flaws that I can see or know of. I am not an expert and I can make a mistake. If I do, it will be totally unintentionally and I will do my best to rectify the problem. Please let me know BEFORE you leave a negative feedback or open a dispute. I can assure you there will be no need for that.
If any item is stated to be vintage or antique, it will show signs of age and wear.
Any age/period stated is my own personal estimation and not a guarantee.
Any sizes, weights if stated are approximate as my scales/measure could be slightly different than yours.
Look closely at the photographs, as they constitute an important part of item description. Many will be close ups and the item will appear to be larger than it is in reality.
Colours are difficult to reproduce and may show differently as your monitor may have different resolution. The photos are not a guaranteed exact reproduction of the real life colours. They serve as a guide only. Please contact me if you are looking for a specific shade and I will try to describe the colour in more details.
I do not clean or refurbish the jewellery I sell or routinely re-thread the necklaces. I can only state the condition of the thread at the time of listing and when apparent I will recommend rethreading.
If the thread breaks AFTER you received and wore necklace I cannot be held responsible and cannot offer a refund. Rethreading vintage and antique necklaces regardless of their condition is highly recommended as time would have weakened the thread to some degree. It is impossible to be sure how strong it is and how long it will last. Please remember, antique and vintage pieces do not come with manufacturer's guarantees.
BIDDING
All bids are final and subject to Ebay rules. Please ask any questions you might have before bidding and never assume anything. I am happy to answer any question and send you more close-up photos.
Due to an increasing number of non-payments I ask buyers with negative feedbacks and buyers with less than 10 feedbacks to contact me prior to bidding/buying otherwise I reserve the right to cancel the auction bids and BIN sales.
PAYMENT
All items must be paid for within 3 days of purchase or auction close in pounds sterling only.
Echeques may take up to 10 working days to clear.
A non-payment case is always filed with Ebay if no contact or payment is received within 3 days of auction close or purchase.
POSTAGE and PACKING
I post worldwide but reserve the right to refuse shipment to some countries or post only via a registered signed-for post at my discretion. Please check with me BEFORE bidding/ buying.
I dispatch items within one working day of receiving cleared funds - working days only. Whenever possible and if the cleared funds are received before 1PM UK time, the items are dispatched same day.
Delivery times are beyond my control. Ebay estimates are just that - they are not a guarantee.
All items are packaged with extreme care to minimize any risk of damage in the post.
Charges are kept to a minimum and depend on the item(s) weight, size, packing and type of postal service used. I always obtain a certificate of posting. Item(s) to the value of £50.00 or over and items of precious metals and stones require registered signed-for post. Postage charges are not negotiable. Please be assured I do not profit from postal fees.
MULTIPLE PURCHASES
I combine postage. Please let me know that you will be bidding for more items and again when you have finished bidding. I will then send you one invoice for all you items together with the discounted shipping cost.
Items paid for individually will NOT qualify for shipping discount.
I limit the time to a period of five days only from the day you win/purchase the first item. If you contact me before the end of this period I am willing to extend the time limit - individual cases only.
The final shipping charge will depend on the combined value and weight of all items.
Please enquire about international combined postage prior to bidding and bear in mind that it is not always a cheaper option.
I am happy to give an estimated cost of shipping. Please contact me PRIOR to bidding or buying.
LOST or DAMAGED POST
Please note it is not my fault if items are delayed, lost in the post or arrive damaged. If any of these happen please inform me immediately. Please retain the damaged packaging as evidence. I will assist you until the matter is fully resolved.
REFUNDS
AUCTION ITEMS: In the unlikely event that I describe an item in an intentionally false or misleading manner I will refund the full final bid and the postage fee. The cost of returning the item will be buyer's responsibility.
Any claim for a refund under these conditions must be made within 48 hours of receiving the item and the item has to be returned within 14 days of receipt in its original packing (including the gift box) via a registered, insured (where applicable) and trackable post.
BIN ITEMS: I will give refund if you have just changed your mind. However, I will not refund the postage and packing fees and I will deduct any tax and import duty incurred by me.
Any claim for a refund under these conditions must be made within 48 hours of receiving the item and the item has to be returned within 14 days of receipt in its original packing (including the gift box if applicable) via a recorded post. The cost of returning the item will be buyer's responsibility.
Please note the items remain buyer's property until I safely receive them. I will acknowledge the receipt by email and process the refund immediately.
Any damage to the item AFTER you received and wore it, including broken thread of a necklace is not a valid basis for a return and a refund.
