 | Q: Hi - with all due respect, your pictures look as if they have been produced by a fat incompetent idiot with the technical skill of a baboon, let loose on a cheap editing program - is this correct? |
 | A: Yes, save for one additional detail. I'm always careful to photograph only after a bottle of wine, so strictly speaking they are produced by a drunken fat incompetent idiot... |
 | Q: You seem like an amazingly knowledgable guy - and extraordinarily handsome, great fun with an amazing sense of humour! Is it possible to connect with you on any social networking sites please? |
 | A: Absolutely! You can find us on facebook, just search for Vincero Lightweight Cycles. You can also follow us on twitter - look for @Vincero_Cycles. Hope to see you there! |
 | Q: I'd love to make beautiful 'boudoir' type sandwiches, but can never slice the bread thinly enough to get the real effect....can you help? |
 | A: I can as it happens! The trick is to use bread that isn't perfectly fresh....about 24 hours old is ideal. Then, before slicing, run the blade of the breadknife under steaming hot water. You'll be amazed at the difference it makes! |
 | Q: What payment methods do you accept? |
 | A: I'm happy to accept most 'normal' payment types: Paypal and fistfuls of used fivers will be treated as cleared funds, and the item will be available immediately for collection or posting. Cheques, bankers drafts, building society cheques and Paypal e-cheques MUST be showing as fully cleared before the item can be released. |
 | Q: Do you still accept magic beans as full/part payment? |
 | A: Unfortunately I can no longer accept magic beans in payment...beanstalks are big things, and I only have a small garden. |
 | Q: Do you offer combined shipping for multiple purchases? |
 | A: Yes, although I object to the term 'shipping' being used in the UK! Any multiple purchases that can be packaged together will be, and appropriate postage discounts given. Even if the can't be packed together, I'll probably still give you a token discount as thanks for a repeat purchase...I'm good like that! |
 | Q: How quickly will my item be sent? |
 | A: I post on a daily basis from Monday to Friday. Purchases paid for with cleared funds before 3pm will be sent on the same day. Anything paid for after 3pm on Friday, and over the weekend, will be sent on Monday. The only exceptions are wheels and frames, which take a bit longer to package! For these, I ask for 2-5 days... |
 | Q: I have heard that you were probably the most talented and handsome racing cyclist this country has ever produced. Is this true? |
 | A: Well, modesty forbids a straight answer to that one...suffice it to say that my record in the club freewheel competition speaks for itself... |
 | Q: Are you prepared to end your listing early? |
 | A: I'm glad you asked that, as I do have a very definite policy on this issue. Once an item has received a bid, even if only of a penny, then the auction will run its course, and WILL NOT be ended early. Prior to a bid being placed however, the item is still on 'general sale' and may be ended early if sold elsewhere. |
 | Q: Can you tell me how to make the perfect Yorkshire pudding please? |
 | A: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Sift half a cup of flour with half a cup of milk and a well beaten egg to make the batter. Grease the pan with a good handful of bacon dripping, and heat it on top of the stove. Pour in the batter, and cook for 25 minutes. |
 | Q: What is the steepest incline on a UK mainline railway line? |
 | A: It's the Lickey Incline, which is 1:37. |
 | Q: Is it true that you made the biggest ever pro-rata loss on a single item in Bargain Hunt? |
 | A: It certainly is! So anyone trying to sell me an Art Deco hors d'houvres tray can go forth and multiply... |
