Our Return, Exchange & Refunds Policy

We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from VW Teesside. It is our aim to offer you value and quality at outstandingly low prices.

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us for an exchange or refund within 7 days from the date you (the customer) are in receipt of your order.

Please Note; The following are excluded from our Refund: Return Delivery costs, Upgraded Delivery services [such as Upgrading to a Next Day Delivery service] & Paypal's Fixed Fee [20p] which Paypal now retains on all refunds. This is part of Paypal's User Agreement, Section 8, Commercial Transaction Refund Fee: If you refund a Commercial Transaction payment, we will retain only the Fixed Fee portion of the Commercial Transaction Fee.

If you decide within 7 days that you would like to return an item purchased from VW Teesside, please contact us first to let us know your returning the item & follow the instructions below to return the item.

Some products are excluded from our 7-day money back guarantee, such as Special Orders, Catalysts, Electrical Items & Any items that are found to have been incorrectly installed or damaged by the customer.

Product installation & services already commenced are also excluded from the 7-day money back guarantee.

 

Condition of Return

All Returned orders must be in New condition with the original packaging / box & you should exercise reasonable care with the order whilst its in your possession, so that they're able to be returned to stock to be resold and they must be returned to us within a reasonable time (which we define as 7 days) from your notifaction of return, as we only have 45 days from transaction date to cancel the sale via eBay & issue a refund via Paypal.

Full Refunds (excluding Return Delivery costs & Paypal's Fixed Fee [20p]) will only be given when the above conditions have been met or when an exchange is not-applicable or not possible, such as one-off clearance items.

For DOA (Dead on Arrival) / Damaged in Transit orders, an exchange will be issued for the same item, if this is not possible a full refund will be issued.

 

Late Return Requests outside the 7 day window will also receive a Refund (excluding Return costs), less a 10% restocking fee & possible eBay / Paypal fee deductions, if we're unable to recover the fee's back from eBay / Paypal due to their own 45 day time limit restrictions. © VW Teesside

 

How to Return an item

After contacting us, Please use eBay's Returns System [by Clicking the Blue Text] to initiate the return process by entering the eBay item number.

UK Customers;

Take your order to your local Post Office and return it along with the invoice & original packaging.

We recommend that you use a Service such as Royal Mail Signed For (insurance cover upto £46) or Special Delivery (standard insurance cover of £500) which both offer Online Tracking.

 

Item(s) Undelivered

If for any reason any order(s) are returned to us by the postal company i.e. Royal Mail & you wish to have the item re-delivered the postage cost will have to be re-payed prior to re-dispatching.

 

Lost Orders / Failed Deliveries

We are responsible for ensuring that your goods arrive with you. A seller that claims that they will not take responsibility once the goods are placed in the delivery system is not meeting their legal obligations. We will work with you to resolve delays, failed deliveries and potential losses.

However, we will not enter into negotiations relating to a replacement or a refund if the tracking states Delivered or until the time period as established by a delivery company regarding late or lost goods has been passed.

This is 15 working days for UK items & 30 working days for International items through Royal Mail, though other couriers have differing policies.

When we suspect that an item is lost, we will send you through a form to fill in and sign in order to enter a claim with Royal Mail, once this is returned to us a replacement or a refund will be issued.
