VIOLENT DELIGHTS TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing a bid or making a purchase from Violent Delights, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

PAYMENT:

All items require immediate payment via Paypal. International buyers wishing to combine shipping on multiple purchases must complete checkout and payment for all items prior to combined shipping being applied - the exact postage will be calculated based on the weight of the order, and excess postage costs will be reimbursed via Paypal refund prior to shipping.

UK BUYERS: We accept payment by Paypal, though we can also accept payments by credit or debit card by prior arrangement.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: We accept payment by PAYPAL ONLY. Under certain circumstances, we can also accpet credit or debit cards by prior arrangement.

 
 
DISPATCH & DELIVERY:

Orders are processed immediately upon payment and are dispatched daily Monday to Friday. All orders received before 2pm will be sent out the same working day. Most UK items are received within 1-3working days; International items are usually received within 5-10 working days. Delivery times will vary according to the postage method selected by the buyer at checkout.

Customers opting for Next Day Special Delivery must complete checkout and payment prior to 2pm Monday to Friday to ensure next working day delivery.

Combined postage discounts are offered for international buyers on multiple purchases. International buyers please contact us for a combined postage total - we will endeavour to obtain the best postage rate possible. Postage and packing charges are priced according to item weight and also include the cost of packing materials and delivery overheads. Postage charges are non-negotiable; by making a purchase, you are accepting the postage cost for the item. For international deliveries, please allow up to 28 days for customs delays and please note that you, the customer, are responsible for any customs charges, duties or taxes which may be applicable upon delivery. Items being sent outside of the EU are sent with full and accurate customs documentation.

Please remember that we send items as soon as possible and we are not responsible for delivery times once an item has been dispatched.

All standard estimated delivery times provided by Violent Delights or eBay are intended as guidelines only - we cannot make guarantee of any delivery times unless otherwise stated (eg: Next Day Guaranteed).

 
 

COMMUNICATION

While we are always happy to help out with any queries you may have about a specific item, please read the listing thoroughly and check our FAQ's for an answer to your question before contacting us. We try very hard to supply full and thorough descriptions and measurements of our items, so please take a moment to check before emailing us. We will try our best to answer any questions within 24 hours, though during busier periods, we would appreciate your patience. Please do NOT attach notes to Paypal payments with important information about your order (such as a change of address or specific delivery requirements) as we will not receive it. Instead, please contact us separately using the eBay messaging system and we will do our best to help.

 
 

LATE/LOST MAIL

While most of our items are received within the given time frame for the service, there can be hold ups along the way, so we ask customers to wait for the estimated delivery period before contacting us. We notify our customers by email when their item is dispatched and we ask customers to check with their local sorting office if they have not received their item within seven days (14 days for International customers). If you are not home when your a delivery attempt is made, the parcel will be taken to your local sorting office for you to collect. If it is not collected it will be returned to us. In such circumstances, we may ask you to submit a second postage payment for us to resend your item.

 
 

RETURNS POLICY/YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

In accordance with the Sale Of Goods act and distance selling regulations, you are entitled to cancel your contract with us if you so wish provided that you exercise your right no longer than seven working days after the day on which you receive the products. Please note that our returns policy comprises an essential part of the terms and conditions of which acceptance is mandatory when placing an order from Violent Delights.

 
 

CONDITIONS OF RETURN

Returns must be made within seven working days of receipt of the item, and all garments must be returned in their original unworn condition with all tags intact. Violent Delights reserves the right to refuse a returned item if this criteria is not met, or the item is deemed unfit for return. Any such garments will be returned to the buyer at their own cost. Items must be returned to us using a recorded delivery service with the appropriate level of insurance. Violent Delights does not under any circumstances accept responsibility for returned goods until they are received back. Returning goods is the responsibility of the customer and Violent Delights accepts no liability for undelivered returned packages or returned goods which have been damaged in transit. Refunds consist of the purchase price of the item. Returned items from outside of the EU must be marked with the correct relevant customs information as detailed in our returns instructions, as Violent Delights cannot accept responsibilty for any costs or delays incurred at customs due to incorrectly declared packages.

If you wish to exchange your item for a different size or style, international customers will be asked to contribute the postage costs and/or any difference in price of a replacement item prior to its dispatch.

PLEASE DO NOT RETURN ITEMS WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST VIA THE EBAY MESSAGING SYSTEM.

 
 

DAMAGES/FAULTY ITEMS

All items are carefully quality checked prior to despatch. This includes checks of all fastenings, detailing and printing of each individual item. In the rare event of an item being received damaged or defective, please contact us immediately to arrange a return. All faulty items will be subject to inspection and assessed for eligibility before being accepted. Items deemed faulty will be exchanged for an identical item by return of post upon receipt of the faulty goods, should they be deemed acceptable. Please note that damaged items which have been worn, washed or mishandled may not be considered defective if mistreated or inappropriately used. As all goods are checked and fastenings are tested prior to dispatch to ensure that they are supplied 'fit for their purpose' as per the Sale Of Goods Act, we regret that we are unable to accept deem items which have been damaged as a result of misuse, incorrect sizing or natural wear and tear as defective.

 
 

NON RETURNABLE ITEMS

Please be aware that we are unable to accept returns on certain items for hygiene and security reasons. These items include but are not limited to underwear, bikinis, piercing accessories and make up. Items exempt from our standard returns policy are clearly stated as such within the listing. When buying non-returnable items, please be absolutely sure that you have selected the right item and size before completing your order. Returns are not accepted on perishable products which have had their seals broken or removed or intimate items which have had their hygiene strips removed or tampered with.

Although it is by no means compulsory, we appreciate customer feedback, and are always happy to reciprocate with a positive comment. In the rare event of an issue with a purchase, we are grateful for the opportunity to help, and politely request that customers contact us to allow us a chance to assist before feedback is left.

Please think carefully about the 5 Star ratings you leave in reference to your purchase, and bear the following points in mind:

ITEM AS DESCRIBED: We take great care to ensure all items are photographed/depicted as clearly and precisely as possible, and describe items as accurately and thoroughly as necessary in within the listing. Full measurements are given for each garment, normally accompanied by a recommendation of the size it will comfortably fit. Please do not use this rating as an opportunity to reflect on whether or not you purchased the correct size - the information is in the listing, and we consider it the customers responsibility to read it prior to making a purchase.

COMMUNICATION: we will happily answer all queries before and after a sale, and are dedicated to ensuring you are kept up to date with the progress of your order. You will be notified by email on receipt of payment and upon despatch of your order. We are always happy to supply a tracking number and exchange items.

DESPATCH TIME: Please note the phrasing - DESPATCH time. This rating refers to how promptly we despatched your order - not how quickly you received it. Although we will always make every effort to ensure your order is sent as soon as humanly possible, we regret that certain factors such as Royal Mail are beyond our control.

POSTAGE & PACKAGING CHARGES: Although many of our listings now offer free UK postage, some still have shipping charges attached. Please be aware that shipping is charged according to weight, and as many of our items such as coats and baggy pants are very heavy and often have metal work such as chains etc attached, this increases the weight even further. Although we try to keep shipping prices to a minimum, please bear in mind that packaging materials are also included in this price - bags, Jiffy's and wrapping paper are not free to us, and we hope you will appreciate the care and pride we take in the presentation of your purchase.
