As we are a small family business we are closing our eBay shop from Friday 11th May 2012, while we take a short break from eBay. If you do place an order during this time we will despatch any orders made when we return on 4th June.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may bring, we would like to assure you that all messages received will be acknowledged and answered as soon as we can during this time. 

All fulfilment of orders made via ebay/ replacements / returns will be processed on our return. Do not worry, we have been on ebay since 2002 and haven't run away!! We just need a short holiday. !!

Whilst we will not be fulfilling orders via eBay. Amazon will fulfil any new orders directly during this time, often with free postage!.  So do take a look.

PAYMENT - can be made using: Pay pal, Personal Cheque (GBP) or Postal Orders should be made payable to UKET Ltd and sent to the address above. Paypal payment is my preferred and quickest method, although credit and debit card payments can be made over the phone if you prefer. Personal cheques & ebay E-cheques must clear before goods will be dispatched.

POSTAGE - All Items are usually posted the same day if payment is received before 2.30pm (Weekend purchases will be dispatched on Monday am or Tuesday if its a UK Bank Holiday). If you require a guaranteed special delivery or recorded delivery please specify this on checkout. I track and trace all items and everything is insured.

RETURNS - If you have a problem with the device and think its faulty, please initially contact me via the ebay messaging system or ring me, I will work with you to figure out what is going on. If we both agree that something needs to be sent back for a replacement or a refund, please send it to the address above and I will be in touch as soon as it arrives..

DISTANCE SELLING - If you have changed your mind regarding the purchase of the item or it simply does not meet your requirement I will refund the full cost less any original & subsequent postage costs for upto 7 days after the date of despatch to you. Please ensure that you always return items with the original invoice or print out of the order from ebay. I need to keep our records in order to process them, you will appreciate how important this is to process things quickly! All items must be returned in the original undamaged packaging..

FEEDBACK- You will appreciate that I try my best to maintain the best feedback score I can, this is achieved by working with customers rather than against them. I automatically give positive feedback when a payment is received. So please let me know if you are not happy for any reason. For any online purchase to go smoothly it deserves co-operation from both parties and the understanding that sometimes human/technical/natural/emotional forces also come into place. So with this in mind I do not know why any transaction would go wrong, communication is as key as your custom..

 Q: I need some advice - im not sure if this is what i need
  A: If you need some advice, im here to help so ask away. I wont oversell anything to you, i don't want you to buy something that you don't want or don't need. I'm happy to provide advice regarding any product, will attempt to answer any question asked of me. If you cant find the answer you need on the listing or in our support area then message me.
 Q: Do you have auctions and Buy It Now of this item.
  A: Sometimes.. If you see an item you like at auction but want to buy it now, but its not offered, take a look in my ebay shop. Select the show buy it now link and you might be able to buy it without waiting. Likewise if you find me via a buy it now listing and want to see what auctions i may have, click the auction only link it could save you £ $ € !
 Q: I think its faulty - can you help ??
  A: YES ! let me know straight away. I will sort it out with you. If you can let me know what the problem is, of course i will help. A lot of the things i sell might simply require some technical help, so do get in touch first. If we both think its faulty and i cant help, i will replace it or repair it free of charge and refund any return postage.
 Q: Do you charge a returns fee.
  A: No. i will not charge you a returns fee, this is actually against distance selling regulations, so no genuine honest business should ever charge a restocking fee for a straightforward return. As a buyer you do have a duty of care to return items in the same condition your received them in if you change your mind, (unless its faulty)..
 Q: The item i received is not as described.
  A: Oh bloomin eck.. When you are sole trader its hard to blame someone else for any mistake that happens, so its only right that if something isn't what you expect when you get let me know. It may be a packing error, misunderstanding, if i have made any error i will make every effort to sort it out quickly & so you do not incur any additional expense.
 Q: Do i get a guarantee?
  A: Yes, everything is supplied with a 12 month guarantee.

  A: I try and turn around returns as fast as i can, by ensuring you send me the details of your purchase and what the resaon for returning it, will ensure i can sort it out asap! its best if you send things back recorded delivery, you can then see when i received it !
 Q: Is it new?
  A: yes, everything I sell is brand new in the box! with a 12 month warranty. unless it is specified as anything else in the listing, which is highly unlikely because I only sell new stuff..

 Q: When will i get my item.
  A: Thats a good question!, when we post your item we send you and email, normally in the UK we post the same day if you bought it before 1pm, so give it a couple of days. Ebay suggest 10 days should be allowed, but it should be with you way before then.. we post fast, our feedback from past customers proves this.. let me know if you get worried though

  A: no sorry, im not insured for collections, i only post. I despatch as soon as i can.

  A: no sorry, at the moment it is too complicated for me to sort that out, or does eBay provide any useful reporting for my accounts as it is, the price you see is the price you pay..

 Q: what is a private listing
  A: a private listing will not show the item link in your feedback, but you will still see my comment. Say you are buying a gift or want some confidentiality i appreciate you might want to keep this information private so i tend to disable the item link/details appearing in your feedback. Nobody needs to know what you bought really do they ?
 Q: What is your return policy?
  A: 14 days, but im pretty flexible if you are on holiday etc. i fully comply with all distance selling regulations and am ISIS accredited.  Q: Do you combine shipping?
  A: yes, it save us money on postage and packaging and its only fair that you get the benefit too....! If you commit to buy, ebay should automatically calculate this for you, but if not le me know and i will adjust the invoice before you pay..
 Q: When can I expect my order to arrive?
  A: We try and post everything paid for (payment received and cleared) the same day if its before 1pm. We post every day mon-fri (not bank holidays) and our mail is collected at 5pm.... We post first class, first class recorded, special delivery and overseas..
 Q: How much is the Shipping and Handling Charge?
  A: We do specify this on every listing it can range from FREE to a few pound to cover the cost of postage calculated with Royal Mail.
 Q: Do you ship internationally?
  A: Yes, we have posted everywhere from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. Its not a problem as long as you have an address..

 Q: Who is UKET anyway?
  A: Well UKET is just David (full time) & Elizabeth (the boss/wife) from Manchester UK and we set up UK-ET in 2007.
