STAR SHOES UK apologies if you have been directed to this page but due to the volume of emails currently being received it has become impossible to reply to each one individually.
UPDATED 1st NOVEMBER 2007
We are still aware that many customers have still not received their items posted during the strike period and from the 15th October. Many items have been delivered during the week beginning 29th October and I am hopeful that the remaining items will turn up soon.
Anyone waiting for items that are needed by specific dates are advised to assume they will not turn up on time. Obviously some customers will need to return items for this reason and full refunds will be issued.
AN UPDATE FROM ROYAL MAIL 24TH OCTOBER 2007
Please check the link below for the latest email from royal mail.

STAR SHOES UK can only apologise once again for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank customers for the patience and understanding they have shown in this difficult time.
*--------*----------*--------*---------*---------*---------*
I hope the following will help answer your questions.
(Q1) Has my item / when was my item posted.
(A1a) All items paid by cleared funds by 2pm are dispatched the same working day, after the 2pm deadline they will be dispatched the next working day.
(A1b) STAR SHOES UK sends a dispatched email only once your parcel has been handed over to Royal Mail. If you have not received your email please check your junk mail settings. The date on the email will be the date of dispatch.
(Q2) My item hasn't arrived yet.
(A2) I am sorry if you have not yet received your item. Due to the royal mail strikes there is still a considerable backlog, not helped by the "wildcat" strikes that have continued in various parts of the country in the last week.
I am aware that many items posted during the strike have still not reached their destination. I am very disappointed with Royal Mail over this as mail was meant to be sorted in the order it was received, this obvioulsy hasn't been the case. I have already contacted Royal Mail to inform them of this and obviously I have been told that they are doing their best to clear the backlog.
Royal Mail will not consider an item missing until 15 working days after it was due to be delivered. This means that for items posted 2nd class during the strike period of 4th - 9th October the due date for delivery was 15th October. 3 weeks needs to be allowed from this time in order to claim missing / non-delivery.
I am sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers and would ask that you remain patient at the present time.
