Treasured Curiosities

Manga comes in as many genres as novel fiction books;
the graphic novel is just a different more visual format in which to tell a story.
Manga combines both art and words to create a fun story with unique depth and texture.
Many of the books are based off of Japanese animation series, live action TV shows or movies, but not all.

Traditional Japanese style manga reads right to left, the opposite of what many reader are used to.
All of the books I carry are in English unless other wise specifically stated in the listing.
I do have a small category of a few non-English titles.

Manga also comes in the full range of appropriate reader ages.
Just because they look like cartoons, does not mean they are all for kids.
Please observe the recommended reader ages posted & ask questions about specifics
to make sure a series is appropriate for your intended audience.

Where to start:

How to find what you are looking for:

I have included links to the categories of age ranges.
All of my listings include genre descriptions of the series in the body of the listings,
but I am always happy to give you more specifics upon request.
I have read almost every series I have listed, so can gladly give suggestions of other similar series or genres you might enjoy.

If you do a search "in title & description" within the age range category you want &
use search words like action, fantasy, romance, vampire, horror, manhwa, etc.
you should be able to narrow down your initial search results to what you are looking for.
Try one word searches for more options.

Some of the genres you might try looking under:
Shonen (aimed towards boys action), Shojo (aimed towards a female audience, usually drama or romance),
Fantasy, Action, Sci-fi (science fiction), Horror, Comedy,
Vampires, Romance, Cooking, Drama, Mystery, Sports,
