|Welcome to Tolg Furniture.
A world where beautifully shaped and finely crafted pieces of furniture are waiting to meet you. Our pieces do not match in the tired and traditional sense but are individually characterful and gathered to embody a relaxed approach to satisfying, sensual home-making.
Central to our philosophy is comfort which is subjective, hence the wide range of sitting styles on offer. We love fabric and scour the globe for the most beautiful colours, textures and patterns that we can find to include within our own collections. Passionate as we are, we also welcome your ideas. WHO ARE WE? Since 1992 Henderson Russell has designed and made contemporary classical sofas and chairs that exhibit an appreciation of line and form. It is our passion.
WHAT WE DO: Here at HR, comfort is our thing. Obvious I hear you say, but there are plenty of sofas and chairs out there which look great but just aren't that comfortable. All of our designs start with comfort in mind. We aren't happy until we have created that little bit of heaven in your living room for that precious "me time" at the end of the day. Situated in the heart of England Barton Furniture is recognised for quality manufacturing of timber products to the furniture industry, with a history dating back to the beginning of the last century. Over the years the company has changed both its core production and name to meet the current trends, and its customer’s demands.
Originally producers of ammunition boxes for the First World War, then high quality cabinet furniture, and in the thirties upholstery was introduced into the range for both the contract and domestic markets. The timber mill was re-sited from Nottingham to Long Eaton in the late sixties, and rationalisation over the last twenty years has brought us full circle and established us into our the current format.
