Shell Vacations is a Premiere Membership Property with multiple locations, which are listed below. Most of their resorts are either Five Star with II or Gold Crown with RCI. Shell Vacations is split up into Clubs based on the home state. You will have up to 12 months to make a reservation for all home state Resorts (9 months to make reservations for the remaining Resorts).
Maintenance fees include the annual RCI and Shell membership dues. Points are deposited every year on the anniversary date and are good for one year. The points can also be rolled over for one additional year (roll over dead line is four months prior to anniversary date).
Prime Location also gives you maximum trading power with RCI and II, enabling you to choose from over 6000 resorts worldwide, should you decide to exchange your week.
Currently, Shell Vacations is selling packages at approximately seven dollars a point. So, a 2500 Shell Points package would cost you approximately $17,500.
  
Shell Vacation Club Points

Joining Shell Vacations Club enables you to enjoy luxury vacations in various locations, including Hawaii, Arizona and California. The points system gives you added flexibility and allows you to choose from of the great resorts within the Shell Vacations Club Resort system at any time (based on availability) without an exchange fee. Simply pick up the phone and make the reservation of your preference. You can choose between making several reservations at various resorts or take an extended vacation at one resort every year. With the Shell Vacations Club, you control your vacation planning by picking the resort, season, number of days, and the type of accommodations. Unused Points can be rolled over for an additional year. In addition, you can select from more than 5000 resorts worldwide, if you want to trade your points through RCI or II (additional fees apply). The Shell Vacations Club ownership is a membership based on an underlying deeded ownership, which will be transferred through an assignment of assumption.
