Shipping Charges& Handling

We are happy to combine postage, However the combined postage is dependent on the carrier. For example if a 2kg item may be quoted delivered royal mail delivery 1st class which has a maximum weight of 2kg, Therefore the combination of two items will be 2 times the postage. However using a different courier we may get a better rate for the combined weight, We will if possible give you the best option. If you insist on a particular carrier then ultimately the price could be a simple multiple of the rate and be expensive compared to other options. We will endeavour to offer the best delivery rates we have available it will be based on Weight, Volume and Value (for insurance of consignment).
If you have specific courier requirements consult us before you buy otherwise we will give the cheapest option available to us, all options will require a signature on delivery.

Each item will specify the shipping options available for that item. The options and price will vary from item to item dependant on, The price of the item, The weight of the item, Volume of the item. The combinations of these factors determine the shipping methods we offer. We use a select number of carriers and will give you the best price they can provide, however there will always be a small allowance for packaging costs and handling time, this is included in the stated price. We do not list carriage prices to all non UK destinations.

Please allow reasonable time for us to respond. Please note we may NOT be able to respond to shipping costs for an item at weekends. Please note we cannot just switch to a carrier of your choice as the prices / convenience may differ wildly.
It is possible we do not know of a cheaper Insured shipping methods to your location, if you know better please tell us and we will consider it.

It is normal that couriers may only attempt delivery one time as with Royal Mail, In most cases the item will be held a the depot where you may collect it (as with Royal Mail). Items not collected within 5 to 7 days, dependant on courier will be returned to us, You will be responsible for all return and re-delivery costs. Re-delivery to a different address will usually incur a second charge.

Most courier deliveries are next WORKING day (Monday to Friday, NOT weekends). Once Items have been dispatched it is too late to make any changes. Since we intend to dispatch on the same day payment is received it is very important YOU make sure you have given us the correct delivery details.

If you would like dispatch to be delayed so that it is received on a day more convenient to you just say when you pay and we will delay the dispatch.

IMPORTANT - Transit Damage -

If a parcel is delivered to you, the postman or courier will ask you to sign, to acknowledge receipt. If the parcel is obviously damaged or you believe it has been mishandled, sign for the parcel as "Package DAMAGED consequences unknown". Make sure you write the word "DAMAGED" and other appropriate description regarding the parcel's condition next to your signature and cross out any pre-printed words which say received in good order.
Inform the courier of the damage while he is still present, If possible inspect the goods inside the package for any damage. Then contact us ASAP by phone on 01189 733373 Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm and we will advise you on what to do next. Most goods are sent insured, but if the goods are damaged we may not be able to claim unless you have made it clear the goods were damaged when you signed for them. Please bear in mind the packaging is there to protect the goods in transit, Sometimes a dent on a box is just that and the goods inside are perfect.

Regular Carriers we use

Used for small low value items weighing less than 2Kg.
Usually next working day but this is not guaranteed.

Used for small High value items weighing less than 2Kg.
Should by next day before 1pm but this is not guaranteed. Not delivered on Saturday's unless extra is paid depending on weight.

Used for Bulky or heavy items above 2Kg.
Should by next day before 9.00am to 5:30pm but this is not guaranteed. Not delivered on Saturday's unless extra surcharge is paid.

Very heavy items (above 50Kg) Items usually shipped on a wooden pallet. Rates may vary widely dependant on your location, With this method ALWAYS ask for a price BEFORE you bid. Note, the carrier will expect you to unload the vehicle or at least help. You may require a forklift truck.
Note:- There may be waiting time charges if the driver has to wait to be unloaded, you will be responsible for these charges. You can always collect by appointment. Not delivered on Saturday's

You are welcome to collect (no charges), However we are not a shop, Please call or message us to arrange a mutually convenient time and can have the goods ready when you arrive.
Opening hours for collection 09:30am to 5:30pm Weekdays, We are NOT open at weekends.
Please Note - No prepayment for collections - payment in person only payment by Credit or Debit Cards or cash.

You may arrange collection of heavy, awkward, expensive to ship items, however you may only do this if you have paid by a non Credit/Debit card method such Bank Transfer, Etc.
