IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION FOR OUR
CUSTOMERS
Once you have ordered
your chosen items from our listings, you will be given a number of postage
options, at varying prices and levels of tracking support. Please
note - Courier delivery will incur surcharge to addresses off the UK
mainland (including the Isle of Wight), and to any KW, HS, AB31-56 (over 35kg
only), KA27/28, PA20-78, PH5-10(over 35kg only), PH16-50 (over 35kg
only), and ZE postcodes. Generally, items provided
with free delivery wqill be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class or Tracked delivery
(depending on size). Larger, heavier or more expensive items may be sent via
courier delivery.
Further to clearance of payment, we will send you an email to confirm the date of despatch of your item. From this point, the following information applies.
We ask you to refer back to our 'terms and conditions' on
the item listing for further details about the rare event of lost or delayed postage. We recommend that you upgrade to courier delivery if a prompt and/or trackable delivery is important to you.
Royal Mail Delivery
Your order should be delivered between 3-5 days after despatch. To remind you, this service is not trackable, however your parcel will have a reference number which is useful in the case where delivery has been completed and/or attempted and we can provide this on request.
If
there is no sign of either the parcel or a card from your postman in around 3-4
days after despatch, we suggest you contact us, just in case the card has gone
astray! Your post office will hold onto parcels awaiting collection for only 7
days, after which they will return them to us.
In the event your parcel
arrives damaged, please retain the item and packaging and contact us
immediately.
In the case of a delayed parcel, Royal Mail will
not class this as 'lost' until 21 days have elapsed. This is a Royal Mail
policy, not a policy of The Warehouse Outlet, and we appreciate your patience in
that we are unable to send a replacement or refund your order until these 21
days have passed. Courier
Delivery (UKMail/BusinessPost)
Your order should be delivered either the following working day after despatch (2 -3 working days in more remote areas).
It is
not practical for us to update every customer with the consignment number of
their parcel, but feel free to contact us for this information if you would like
to track your parcel, which can be done easily on
www.ukmail.biz.
If
someone is not available to sign when the courier delivers, they should simply
leave a card with a telephone number for you to call to rearrange
delivery. They will then hold the parcel for 5 days before returning it to
us as unclaimed. However, if there is no sign of either a parcel or a card
by the evening, please let us know and we will help track your order.
This is important, as we have only 24 hours to report any loss - after this we
are unable to claim.
In the event your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us immediately as, again, we have only 24 hours to report this - after this we are unable to claim.
And lastly, if the courier has any difficulty locating your address, they will contact us for your telephone number. If you have not already provided us with a daytime contact number at point of order, we reserve the right to pass the telephone number listed by you on ebay to the delivery company for this purpose.
