PayPal is accepted as a payment method here. Therefore the products we offer here must comply with their very restrictive policies.

www.tacticalcity.com offers a much larger selection of gun parts and accessories, some of which are not permitted under eBay or PayPal policy but do comply with all State and Federal laws. PayPal is not and will not ever be accepted as a payment method on that site. Therefore PayPal cannot dictate what items can be sold there. 

While both companies are owned by the same person, they are separate companies. This tells us everything we need to know about you and your purchase and expedites our ability to provide assistance. We are in the process of updating our return policy to make it more effective for everyone. It is as follows:

NEW RETURN POLICY

Returns are subject to the following conditions.

1) You must contact us before returning a product so that we can make sure you have the correct return address. Odds are the address on the package is not our address, and if you ship it to that address your return will get lost. We are not responsible for lost packages because you shipped something to our supplier without a return authorization. All it takes is an email to us to get the correct address.

2) Warranty and Repair claims should be taken up with the manufacturer. Contact them directly. We need not be in the loop unless they request information from us. Unless your item specifically said it was USED, then it is factory new and covered under whatever manufacturer warranty is available. All of our products are purchased either directly through an Authorized National Distributor or directly from the manufacturer. So your purchase should be covered under whatever warranty the manufacturer provides. All USED items are of course sold as is and cannot be returned and are not necessarily covered under warranty (but it can't hurt to as the manufacturer anyway).

3) Damaged or Lost During Shipment claims can be slow to process. If you purchased UPS shipping insurance should have been automatically included. If you purchased USPS it might not be. If you did not select and pay extra Insurance we were not responsible to buy it for you. However, sometimes we do anyways. So shoot us an email and we will start the claim process. You will get paid once we get paid by the shipping carrier. We will also need to give your contact information to that carrier so their investigators can speak with you about your claim.

4) Returns because we made a mistake are acceptable. If we made a mistake such as sending you the wrong product, and we agree that we made a mistake, we will happily exchange your product for the correct item. If we are out of the correct item we will issue a refund. Sadly we will need to inspect your return before the replacement is sent to you. This can take time. Make certain that you contact us first so we can get you a return authorization number (if needed) and most importantly the correct return address. We have the final say on whether or not we made a mistake and a free return is authorized. Return freight charges will be refunded after the return is processed.

5) Returns because you changed your mind or just did not like the item. We never used to offer this. The reason was because of the expensive eBay fees we would lose if we did combined by our suppliers restocking fees made it cost prohibitive. However, we decided that if you are willing to pay the 20% restocking fee and cover shipping we will eat the rest of the expenses. Contact us before making such a return so we can get you the correct return address. We wish the policy could be friendlier. We do this in order to make sure we can keep our prices low and our staff free to provide fast turnaround times on order processing and shipping.

BIDDER CAN NOT PAY POLICY

EBay charges us money the moment you bid or click the BUY NOW button. We expect you to cover these fees. Sending us a $4 PayPal payment and completing the Mutual Unpaid Item Report is the only way we can insure neither account is negatively impacted. We do this to discourage bid and run buyers, and to make sure we can continue to offer extremely low prices.

CHARGE BACKS AND PAYPAL DISPUTES

There is no honest reason to initiate either a charge back or a PayPal dispute. You knew the terms going into the sale, and they are extremely fair. We bend over backwards to fix any mistakes or issues that come up, and make your happiness our primary concern. Therefore, if you are filing a Charge Back or a PayPal Dispute you are doing it for a dishonest reason. We consider that fraud. In the 10 years we have been doing business we have only had 2 charge backs. In both cases the person received exactly what they ordered, but decided they did not want to pay for their purchase. There was nothing we could do to resolve the issue. Our policy is clear. We will fight your claim. If your claim is successful we will turn the matter over to a collection agency along with a $50 fee to cover our expenses. If you still do not pay for services rendered, your credit will be negatively impacted. If we feel the matter warrants taking the matter to court, we will do so and you will be responsible for paying our legal fees and expenses. Please keep in mind; this has only occurred twice in a 10 year period. We do not anticipate it ever happening again. We do everything we can to solve any issues that come up and are extremely fair. All we ask is that you be fair with us in return. We will not reward dishonesty.
