Payment

We accept payment via:

  • Paypal
    • There is no charge for using Paypal. Please note that echeques can take several days to clear so may cause a delay in posting your item(s). We will advise you if your payment arrives as an echeque.
    • We only accept Paypal payments from International customers.
  • UK Postal Order
    • Please ensure your Postal Order is crossed and made payable to The Pet Store then post to us at the address on our listings.
  • Credit or Debit Card
    • We can take payment via all major Debit and Credit Cards by telephone. Please call 01506 825841 with your purchase information and have your card handy.
  • Payment on Collection
    • We are happy for items to be collected (free of charge) from our shop premises during normal shop hours.
    • Payment for collected items may be made by cash or any major credit / debit card at the time of collection.
    • Please advise us in advance if you wish to collect your item(s).

Please make payment within 4 days. A polite payment reminder is sent automatically by eBay after 2 days. An Unpaid Item Dispute will be opened after 4 days if no payment (or advice of payment) has been received.

Postage and Delivery

If you are making multiple purchases please assist us by paying for them all together. Please request a combined invoice before paying so that we can apply as much postage discount as possible.

Most of our items are dispatched via Royal Mail. However, postage need not come to more than £6.99. If it does, we will provide the option to upgrade to 48Hr Courier to keep your postage costs down.

Items will be dispatched First Class as soon as possible after cleared payment is received and normally within 3 days. We will advise if there is a delay for any reason.

Unless you request Special Delivery we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date. We are happy to provide a new invoice on request to include Special Delivery. Please bear in mind that we cannot control Royal Mail delivery times.

Postage may be upgraded to Recorded or Special Delivery at our discretion.

Refunds / Returns

Please advise us within 8 days if you wish to make a return using eBay's Easy Returns Process accessed direct from the item listing in your My eBay.

Faulty items will be replaced or refunded in full, depending on your preference. Please advise if you require a replacement item so that we can check stock levels and place an order if necessary.

For other items, we will refund the purchase price and original postage but you will need to pay the return postage yourself.

Please ensure unwanted items are unused, with the original box or packaging, and in a condition allowing us to resell them. We do not charge a restocking fee. Some items, such as customised Pet Tags, cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Returns should be sent to the address on our listings. We advise you to obtain proof of posting or use a trackable service for returns.

After Sales

We want you and your pet to be happy with your purchase. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are not satisfied with your item(s) so that we can resolve any issues.
