Get all your digital files from my store on ONE data CD!!!
In March 2008, eBay made the incredibly stupid decision to ban all digital download sales from their site. They claim this was to prevent feedback manipulation from people selling penny downloads, but instead of just banning those by setting a minimum sale price, they banned ALL downloads. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
We can't offer email delivery in eBay listings anymore, either. All digital items such as ebooks and photos must now be delivered on some sort of physical format. Yes, it is a return to a technological Stone Age, but that's the new rule, so......
My solution is to offer custom-burned data CDs. You pay for ONE physical plastic disk as part of the shipping charges, and I will put all your additional digital items onto that single CD for FREE if you pay for everything in one payment.
Theoretically, you could fit every digital item in my store onto a single data CD. So be sure to get all the ebooks and other digital items you want in one order -- when you are done shopping, ask for an invoice and I will combine everything. That will save you of LOTS of money on shipping!
Can the CD be combined with other items? In most cases, yes, although not in the long feather quill boxes (because of shape) and not with live plants (because of dampness). Because eBay doesn't always get it right, please ask for an invoice first.
Please allow an extra day or two for me to get the CD made and sent to you. Due to the increase in gas prices and postage rates, I am only going into town about twice a week to mail things instead of every day like I used to do. This might mean a slight delay in shipping but it also means BIG SAVINGS in shipping charges. (It also means less pollution and better use of natural resources. Of course, eBay is still forcing us to clutter up the landfills with more plastic CD disks. Remember: this was not my first choice! I would much prefer to sell non-polluting, non-cluttering digital downloads. But my customers want these great resources available on eBay, and at least putting everything on one CD is better that using a whole bunch of individual CDs.) |
