Buyer’s Obligations
As the “buyer” you must contact us with your direct contact information including direct email and phone contact as well as payment method. Payment must be made within 5 days of your purchase unless other arrangements are made. If you are a new eBay member zero feedback please contact us by phone before you bid or within 3 days after you bid. If you do not contact us, and proceed with a bid or purchase, we reserve the right to cancel the sale and relist the item immediately.

Shipping

US Delivery via Blanket Wrap Service:
Blanket wrap carriers are insured service providers offering in home 1st floor placement as well a setting up of beds. If your delivery is different than these conditions you must contact us with specific details prior to purchasing so we can obtain an accurate quote.  If you request a quote for delivery we will contact several companies and provide you the best rate quoted to us. We are not the delivery company. Blanket wrap carriers are independent companies that specialize in delivering antique furniture. If you purchase an item and we have provided you a quote and your item is paid and has arrived here in the US we will schedule your purchase for pickup.   Blanket wrap carriers normally pickup merchandise from us every 2 weeks. We will contact you via your direct email and not the EBay email with notification of pickup by the carrier with their contact information.  They then return to their depot and schedule delivery to you.  You are free to contact them with any questions or to discuss delivery timing. Your tracking number is your last name. Depending where you are in the US your delivery may take 3 to 4 weeks. If you are in a remote area or an area not on an active route it may take longer. Holidays and weather may sometimes cause additional delays. If this time frame does not work for you we suggest you arrange your own delivery, simply be patient or do not purchase. Upon delivery of your purchase if there is damage or issues they must be noted immediately to the carrier. If there is damage the carrier is responsible for repair or replacement. If there are other issues with your purchase please contact us immediately. EBay return policies apply on many items and if we have overlooked something we reserve the right to resolve the matter prior to you leaving feedback.
 
If you would like quotes for expedited delivery please give us a call or email us for the best service to complete your purchase. We can provide names of others services or you can search for your own service provider and arrange your own pickup and delivery.

International Shipments: 
Please contact us before you purchase an item if you wish to ship outside of the US. We ship to Canada via Crate and Ship services see below.

Crate and Ship:
Crate and ship services are available on many items. Crate and ship services are driveway drop or commercial loading dock drop off. It is your responsibility to uncrate and remove all packaging material. Inspection of any item must be completed and noted before the shipper or delivery service departs.

Natural Stone & Iron:
Many times natural stone and iron products are large, very heavy and possibly fragile. We work with a group of different shippers which have proven capable of handling these items but certain details often need to be determined. All items are hand inspected by our educated staff before shipping out. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but we will work with you to coordinate and recommend different shippers. Becuase of these reasons we ask all interested customers to please call with their shipping inquiries.

Condition Reports
Many of the antique items we offer range in age from 50 years old to well over 100 years old and as such have experienced a wide range of owners and use. We will not list every chip, nick and scratch in our description since we consider this part of the history of the item. Antique locks we have found after years of use are never dependable. We have also found from experience that a customer’s view or expectations of the condition of an item or more importantly what is acceptable to them varies so we prefer to talk with you one on one. What we may consider very good or exceptional is the result of many years of selecting the best we can find in the market. If you have questions about the condition of an item or require a detailed condition report please give us a call. It is the buyers responsibility to ask. We encourage you to always call prior to your purchase. As the Seller we will attempt to answer all of your questions in a timely manner. We receive many emails daily, so please be patient. If you do not receive a response by us via email please check your Spam Filter or Junk Mail. Telephone inquires receive immediate responses.

Our Service Department
We have a complete service department as well as provide restoration services on many pieces. Services include (but are not limited to) modifications to beds, cabinets, tables and one of a kind pieces. Always call us to discuss the piece you are interested in purchasing and having modified. We hand inspect all merchandise for condition prior to shipment to you.

Natural Stone Products
Product categories and classifications such as Granite, Marble, Travertine, Quartzite, etc are based on generally accepted industry acceptance. They do not necessarily reflect the geological composition of the materials. In many cases, these materials are technically made of a different geological makeup. For example, many stones commonly are known as granites, but geologically, they are actually Charmockites, Polimitic Mataconglomerates, and other various different geological stones. In addition, many stones commonly referred to as marble are geologically limestone. Products show on The Gatz eBay store and website reflect the industry classification of products and do not necessarily reflect the geological composition. The Gatz makes no guarantee or representation of the geological composition of any stone.

We are closed Sunday and Monday. Due to the nature of the internet our web site as well as our eBay store operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a result of our manned hours of operation, time zone differences we will normally not respond to your emails or phone calls until our posted operating hours.
